spamming
Spamming is one practice that can destroy your business.
Unfortunately there are many who really doesn’t know the difference. Ummm I was one of those until I took some time to really think and learn about it. Yeah I admit it. You willing to do the same? When you put together a marketing campaign be conscious so you can attract new customers and also keep your current customers loyal. Actually, I prefer to call those on my list… my friends instead of customers. Customers come and go; but, friends are there to stay as long as you treat them with respect. Hence, don’t spam them moron!
Alright since we have that out of the way, let’s talk about a few marketing strategies that you can do where you are not spamming your friends. A few strategies will include banners, email campaigns, and forums or message boards. So, you ready?
OK… let’s start out with banners. Banners are one of the most popular than many will use in their campaign. Banners can be costly, but also lucrative. I’m sure you already know that banners can be found across the top, down the side, and across the bottom of web pages. So how can banners be considered as spam? Well, think about this… let’s say that you have a business for guitar lessons and you purchase ad space for your banner on a web page for photography. The two are not congruent and could easily irritating to a person who is interested in photography. Keep your banner ads on web pages of your target audience. After all, you want your business to be taken seriously.
Email activities can certainly be extremely helpful methods in Internet marketing. These activities may include sending periodic e-newsletters filled with information along with promotions, brief, educational tutorials or emails offering discounts on products and services. These can even include testimonials for the products or services you are offering. Your friends… remember I consider customers as friends… who opt in to your email list most like will not consider these type of emails as spam.
Now of course if you aggravate the crap out of them then they may think twice about being
spamming is for morons
on your list. If your list has opted in to receive educational information from you then they will truly appreciate the value that you give them. On the other hand, if you harvest emails and start blasting them then this is spam. The will not care about the information you send them because they won’t be able to get past the irritation from being spammed.
Think about it… have you ever received emails from people that you did not opt in too? How did it make you feel to know that you have ANOTHER email coming in that you didn’t want to start with? Do you even read the emails? Quite frankly… I don’t! These pesky morons do nothing but get my unsubscribe click really fast. Sorry, but that’s my opinion. So if you are a spammer that has emailed me… well… you didn’t last long with me.
Now that I have gotten that out of my system, let’s get into forums. I’m gonna keep this one short and sweet. Participate in forums that involve your target market. Come into these areas with the intent to give value, not crap. If you go around posting your link in every post then others are going to start looking at you as more of pest that is just trying to take care of your own needs instead of helping them.
Forums are a great way to meet people and show them what you are made of. Now, don’t worry, your efforts won’t be fruitless. Use the signature box as a way to advertise. Add a link into the box that will catch someone’s attention and give them a reason to click. But let me give a quick little piece of advice. If you come into the forum with the intent to help and give value then other will flock to you wanting to know all that you can offer even when you are not in the forum helping out. Make sense?
OK… now your turn… do you have any strategies that you would like to share and discuss on ways to NOT SPAM and become zero-tolerence for morons?
To your success,
P.S. Are you not receiving the help you need from your upline
