Why I decided to Quit Empower Network

Why I decided to Quit Empower Network

I had been in for months, was shelling out money every month and making nothing.   Yeah, I could see Empower working for others, but do you know what?   It didn’t work for me.

As far as I could see, it wasn’t for me and would never work for me.

I had only joined to make a few hundred dollars a month, and only wanted initially to make enough money to cover my costs, but I couldn’t even do that.

So, I made my decision.  I spoke to a few Marketing friends that I trusted, and decided to focus my energy elsewhere.

I would concentrate on building up the retail of my Network Marketing Business and on building up and promoting MLSP.   I felt more comfortable with that.

I was off sick from my Teaching Job, and knew that my Retail would give me Instant Cash.   Also, with the support from the MLM Summit that Jay Roberts had set up, and weekly webinars going back to basics, I knew that focussing on MLSP would be what I needed.

As far as Empower was concerned, I would let my membership lapse and no longer promote it …

I was definitely going to quit the Empower Network.   What was the point?

So in my mind, I left, and carried on with everything else …

Or did I?

Well, to be honest, I made plans.   But life got in the way.  I didn’t carry them out.

The energy I was spending on retail meant I had less time to do my online Blogging and Marketing, so I just stopped.

As someone who initially when I did start my Online Work blogged daily and shared my team’s posts and replied to comments, it all stopped.

We all know it takes a few weeks to develop a habit, and I was proud of the habits I had developed.

Well, as life got in the way, these habits stopped and no longer became a priority.

When I initially started my online businesses, I blogged daily.   I would not go to bed if I hadn’t created new content.

This all stopped …

Having suffered two leaks to my house during the summer, I was delighted when months later work started in my house.

But it became chaotic and I couldn’t concentrate with all the work going on.   I found it hard to focus.

Everything stopped …

And stopped …

And didn’t start up again.   Too much to do!

Sure my retail was taking up my time, but I was not as focussed as I could be.

And I started seeing a new friend who I had known online for a while and lived locally quite a lot.

Tried to be focussed.   Nah … coffee and chats better.   Or alcohol even better.

More excuses ..

But then something happened.   Something that changed my decision.

So why not tune in tommorrow and I will tell you when I am still here?
