About Anacarin

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Hi, folks,

Any chance you might suspend deeming me inappropriate if I start by making a remark about Spell check, and then, oh, why not, Google?  This is going to tell you more about me than I really want you to know, but what the hey?  If Anacarin is showing up as a misspelling on your screen you know what I’m reacting to.  For Pete’s sake, it’s my chosen on-line name, though Hollywood is still waiting to hear a more exotic on-screen name from me when I hit it bigger than anyone else has.  (Anyone have a good tongue in cheek pic you’d like some exposure for?)  What I’m not so anxious for you to know so early on is my reactivity but perhaps you will understand when I tell you that I decided to search the search term – anacarin online, and the suggestion from Google was:  “did you mean anarchy online?  Huh?  OK, so bots are bots.  It is pretty cool to live in a time when they are up and serving, generally quite well, but bots are bots, aren’t they?

BTW, I was looking Anacarin up online because I used to run into “anacarin is unavailable” a lot when I wanted to use it on a site.  That hasn’t happened in a while and I just got curious.  I’m very glad of it because I found my Groove shark account.  I’ve been too busy “trying to make it” to listen to music while I sit at the computer and I was thrilled to find my Ray Lynch “Deep Breakfast” favorites.  All the favorites I’d managed to mark, in fact.

If you checked that out, you know my name is Karen Lohof.  Karen Ani, as mom often lovingly called me, though she spelled it a little differently.  And, I’m sure you can see how I derived Anacarin from that.  Let me tell you the somewhat convoluted tale, as well. Years and years and years ago, I managed a Tupperware unit I named Wildfire, for Wild and On Fire.  As time went on I found I was very attached to the name and evolved it into Wildfire An’ a Carin’, shortened from Wildfire and a Caring.  Fewer years ago a best friend and I combined our names into Careco.  I hope that caring is something I have managed to demonstrate in the better part of my business dealings, — not anarchy.

There you have it.  You can find Anacarin (me) on Grooveshark if you want to check out how similar our musical tastes are.  You can find some laughs (probably) if you go to Pick Me Web and see what anacarin has chosen – generally because I think I need it.  I’m not sure how that would work exactly but you could always Google anacarin online (please not anarchy online) for starters.  If you are looking for a YouTube channel with some cool stuff on it, go to andacaring.

I still want to be great.  I have lots to share.  I’ll blog again tomorrow!

‘Til then ~ anacarin
