My Theme Song: Do You Have One?
You know..that song that seems to be describing you exactly. Maybe it makes you sad, or maybe it pumps you up! Mine does both.
First, it makes me sad.
I don’t wanna be left behind
Distance was a friend of mine
Catching breath in a web of lies
I’ve spent most of my life
Riding waves, playing acrobat
Shadowboxing the other half
Learning how to react

Now that you know, this is my life, I won’t be told it’s supposed to be right
Reason it is my theme song: I have dealt with depression off and on since I was a teenager. Most recently, I had a BAD case of postpartum depression after my 3rd baby was born. Very few people knew it though..I was good at faking being happy.
As far as being left behind, I have felt that in many things. Getting pregnant at 17 changed the plans of going off to college. Never before succeeding in home businesses I have tried (until now).
Then… it pumps me up!

Reason it is my theme song: No one can hold me back now that I am finding success at home here at Empower! What she says is true..I will spend the rest of the time with the ones I love (my family). I don’t care what the negative people out there have to say (that working online isn’t right, it isn’t normal)..THIS IS MY LIFE!!
