Think Different

They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. In researching this quote I had always thought Steve Jobs had written “Here’s to the crazy ones”. Turns out however it was the Creative Director Rob Siltanen who was working on the Apple pitch who penned these famous words.

For me there has always been something so powerful about those first few words …

“Here’s to the crazy ones!” 

I can’t tell you how many times in my life people have looked at me and thought …  

“She’s crazy! She can’t do that!” 

And then I went ahead and simply did what I set out to do. 

Like this Internet Marketing thing. A lot of people thought I was crazy. And admittedly along the way even I thought I was a bit crazy. But there was one thing that kept me going. 

I kept seeing real people living these amazing crazy lives!

And I’m not talking “flashy” lives, but simply, amazing lives. 

I would read their emails about how they’d spent their Monday morning doing Yoga, and now they were enjoying a Green Smoothie at their favorite coffee shop writing their emails to me! 

And then I would check them out on Facebook and I would see them doing exactly what they said they were doing. 

I would see Mum’s on Facebook saying that they’d just made “x” in commissions online, whilst they were out having fun with their kids rather than being at a 9-5 job. 

I would see images of happy couples on beaches in exotic places and I would think to myself, I want that! 

And instead of looking for the catch,

I was looking for the answer! 

Back in Oct 2011 my husband and I made a decision to join the crazy ones and go for it! And you know what’s really beautiful? Because we chose to do something a little bit crazy, more and more amazing people are daring to be a little crazy too! 

And I’ll admit, you do have to be a bit crazy to think you really can have that magical life you see when you close your eyes, and you do have to be a bit crazy to put in the extra time and effort it takes to learn the skills you need to learn to make this work. 

But in my mind, we would have been crazy not to. 

Because if we didn’t, the fabulous team members of our Totally Inspired Living Tribe might not have dared start dreaming that there is a better way. 

If there is even the slightest ounce within you that has wondered what it might be like to do something crazy, like NOT have a job for the rest of your life, I encourage you to think outside the box for 7 days, and TRY THIS.
