How to Get More Twitter Followers and Facebook Friends Fast
Twitter is one of those Social Media sites many overlook because it seems strange and foreign compared to the familiarity and friendliness of Facebook that so many of us are used too. I won’t lie, I stayed clear of Twitter for a long time because I never took it serious. But if you read on I’ll tell you how you can use the Social Media Giant to create a following on any Social Network.
You wanna know the truth though, Twitter is a powerhouse and with more than half a billion active users its nothing to shake a stick at. You wanna hear something crazy, it only takes three days for the site to get billion tweets and that’s crazy.
Twitter is all about value and connecting just like any other social Media Site.
You can essentially build a list of thousands in a month that you can promote your business or opportunity to and you can do this with about 15-30 minutes of work a day for minimum results and with a hour a day you can create serious momentum.
For instance I grew a following of over 6,000 in about a month on one account and that was with just 10 15 minutes a day of work and they were fairly targeted. The next phase of my plan is to see if I can triple that and create a following of 15,000 to 18,000 in the next 30 days. Can it be done? I believe so and I’ll explain to you how here.
Some of you may say it’s all about quality over quantity, and I agree to an extent, but when you can get both why not? You can effectively attract about 300 followers a day to a single account and from those get 10 to 15 friend requests on Facebook. And these are somewhat targeted followers; if you want extremely targeted followers you can spend some extra time and money to do that.
There are different ways to make this all happen and to accelerate your growth some free and some paid. I’ll cover both, and this is from a solid 90 days of studying and implementing different strategies that I’ve come across and learned.
First we need to understand something, this is a quality method and don’t read this if you don’t plan on taking your business serious.
Just want to make that clear, and this may be off track but typically when someone doesn’t succeed online, it’s because they aren’t taking their business serious. The minute you do everything changes and you have the shift that beats all fear, doubt, worry, and procrastination.
Next I want to tell you that you will have to be consistent with these methods as with anything else. This is for the long hall and to create a following that pays attention has trust is a process.
So what are the steps to create a massice Twitter and Facebook following?
First you need to have some intention and clarity as to why you’re doing this. Is it for branding? To create a Social Media Movement? To gain followers on your Social Networks? It’s all up to you, but until you know what you want you’ll never get anything.
Second you need to have an attractive account, and for connecting across multiple Networks I suggest using the same name or brand. For instance the accounts I use to demonstrate this are my personal Facebook profile and personal Twitter account, and they focus on the same topics; marketing, blogging, travel, and personal growth.
After you have your intention and your accounts set up you will need to figure out if you are going for paid or free, and of course free is a more time consuming road, I’ll give insight into both paid and free.
(My best advice to you is to pick a few social networks and build those up before moving on to the rest; of course this all depends on your resources. But one of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to focus on to many areas at once. Instead find what you like and go with that. For the purposes of explanation I will be talking about Facebook, and Twitter.)
First the free route, let’s say you have time and no money… This is going to be time consuming; first thing I will recommend is to use third party software called IWILLFOLLOWBACK.COM. It’s not the best looking software of most in depth but you get what you pay for (it’s free and it works). The software will allow you to send auto replies to those who follow you, and I generally put a message that will look like this “thanks for following me lets connect on Facebook .”
After linking this software to your account and putting in a response you will have to manually be searching Twitter for people in your niche. If you don’t know who these people are google them.

Once you’ve figured out some names you will go to twitter and do a search for the user. After you come up with their profile you will begin following their followers and with the auto follow back software the ones who will follow you back will receive the message with a call to action and a percentage will follow that call to action. This is time consuming without software. But if you are looking for quality vs. quantity this is the way to go, as for me I typically use this method in conjunction with third party software for massive followers.
These paid third party apps and software use similar strategies just on a massive scale.
There are several of these apps for Twitter, and I started with the cheapest most effective one for massive following called justunfollow. You can follow and unfollow as many people as Twitter will allow but you have to be careful as Twitter will throw you in Twitter jail if you go on a following frenzy. My best tip is to break your days into chunks of 150-250 follows and unfollows at a time with this software and do it four to six times in a 24 hour period. It’s very easy to use and cheap, but its limited on what can be done with it.
There are two top of the line software’s and I recommend choosing one of them. One is TweetAdder and the other is Refollow. Both have their ups and downs and can give the options for highly targeted advanced search and follow options but I won’t go into detail of that here. Also with these software apps you won’t need the IWILLFOLLOWBACK app as they both have auto messaging capabilities. And Tweet Adder has some very powerful automation tools for tweeting and retweeting, I recommend it but you pay for what you get.
Using these third party apps is the fastest way to grow a following on Twitter, and to tie it into other websites of your choosing. Of course you will have to use some of your creativity to stand out from the rest and there are some other tips and tricks but I can’t give away all my secrets here.
