We must be prepared when Christ comes again.
Acts 1:9-11
The great commission, the mission of the Lord.
Preach the gospel, wait for a helper, the Holy Spirit to guide them.
Verse 9 – Cloud came, don’t just look in the sky, get busy. You have work to do. Christ will return again in the future.
Acts 3: 19 Peter preached in repent and be converted.
Why?
Look in verse 20, the Lord will return. Paul also preached the Lord will. I Cor. 11:26 return. Remember his death till he returns, his death.
I Thess. 1:9 Being heavily persecuted, wait for the Lord to return
2:19, 3:13 He is returning
2 Tim. 4:2 Preached the Word, and time would come that their will not be good doctrine. Real reason why. Verse 1. He will judge and we must be ready. Heb. 9;27 Just as we will. Christ will appear or second time. We must eagerly wait for the judgement.
Prophesy after prophesy, the Lord will be coming. We must be ready.
How is he coming back?
He is going to come the same way he left.
I Thess. 4:15
Rev. 1:7 From the Lords and without warning.
I Thess. 5:2 As a thief in the night.
2 Peter 3:10
Those that Christians, are ready for it.
Chapter 5:4 Paul, Rom. 13 Be awake and ready vs. 11
Salvation is near.
The Purpose of his coming: Raise those that are dead and take the living as well.
John 5:28
There is only going to be only one resurrection of the dead in the hour.
Change I Cor. 15:50
We shall all be changed in verse 52.
I Thess. 4:16 We will meet the Lord in the air.
Acts 2:30 Peter prophesy what would happen come true.
Eph. 1
I Peter 3:22 All principals and authorities are reigning.
Col. 1:13
I Cor. 15:25 All enemies are at his feet. we all know death will come when the Lord comes again.
I Cor. 15:23, John 12:48 Word of God will judge us when he ends all rulers.
Why is He going to come back? To judge the world, we are going to be judged by Christ.
Rev. 20:11-15
2 Peter 3:13 We look to where righteousness dwells. Verse 15, If we are blameless, we are looking forward to heaven.
Rev. 21: 1-4 When the earth is destroyed and a new earth, there will be no more suffering. The Lord said that Jesus will return, be judge. Be ready if you are not ready.
Christians need to continue your walk.
