How to write quality content on your blog<\/h2>\n

Content is STILL king out in internet land.\u00a0 Marketing methods come and go but the one method that sticks around is creating content for websites out there.\u00a0 It\u2019s been the only constant and with google updating their algorithms daily if you want to stick around on the internet you better be creating content daily.\u00a0 Are you spending hours writing your content?\u00a0 If you are then you are spending way too much time on it.\u00a0 You have to focus on the main things on creating content and you can pop out a good quality piece in thirty minutes or less.\u00a0 Here\u2019s how to write quality content on your blog<\/strong> in thirty minutes or less<\/p>\n

Research your topic<\/strong><\/h2>\n

People will know if you\u2019re just talking out of your ass on your blog post<\/a>.\u00a0 Do your research.\u00a0 Just like when you were a kid in high school writing a paper.\u00a0 You did some research for your projects right?\u00a0 Well do the same thing.\u00a0 Write down some key points when you\u2019re doing your research.\u00a0 Now you can spend hours doing some research because it can suck you in so what I actually do is set a timer for ten minutes to do some quick research.\u00a0 Ten minutes is more than enough to get a few key points.\u00a0 Especially if it\u2019s a topic that you already know you\u2019re just getting some more ideas to spark in your head.<\/p>\n

I generally like to write down three to five main points that I\u2019ll work with.<\/p>\n

Have an outline<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Now after doing research I\u2019ll make a little outline with those ideas that I\u2019ve jotted down.<\/p>\n

I like to use something like this as an outline.<\/p>\n

INTRO
\nMain point # 1<\/strong>
\n– sub points talking about main points #1
\n– sub points talking about main points #2 main point # 2<\/strong>
\n– same thing main point # 3<\/strong>
\n– same thing<\/p>\n

Call to Action on the BOTTOM of the post<\/strong><\/p>\n

Keep in mine this is a simple outline that I use that I\u2019ve been using for awhile and it works for me.\u00a0 It\u2019s like having a map on my side when I write out the post.\u00a0 Sometimes I get stuck so I look at my \u201cmap\u201d which usually will help me get back on track with my writing.\u00a0 Try it out and tweak it to your liking<\/p>\n

Ten minute Free write session<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After I\u2019ve written out an outline for my blog post I then will do a ten minute free write session.\u00a0 I first learned this from Ed Dale on how he creates content.\u00a0 I actually remember doing this in school when I was younger too.<\/p>\n

The free write session is exactly what it sounds like but instead you\u2019re typing.\u00a0 What I do it open up word or notepad and have it full screen to avoid other distractions.\u00a0 Then I\u2019ll set my timer for ten minutes and I\u2019ll just start typing out stuff.\u00a0 I won\u2019t stop either.\u00a0 If I get stuck on something I\u2019ll continue to type.\u00a0 Sometimes I\u2019ll just start typing random stuff then eventually my mind will get back on track and I\u2019ll keep writing.\u00a0 After ten minutes you\u2019ll be amazed at how much you\u2019ve written.\u00a0 If you\u2019re new to this try different time to see what works best for you.\u00a0 Ten minutes isn\u2019t a time set in stone it\u2019s just a time that I feel works best for me.<\/p>\n

Proofread it later on<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Now you\u2019ve created a blog post.\u00a0 I\u2019ll usually set it aside and either proof read it that night or the next day.\u00a0 I forgot who told me to do that but I\u2019ve always stuck with it.\u00a0 Something about having a fresh pair of eyes to look at your content to proofread later on I guess helps.
\nOnce you get very efficient at this you should be able to generate some fresh content for your blog in record time.\u00a0 Just think of what other things you can do with all the time you now have saved because you are working faster.\u00a0 Think of all the other mediums you can use for that content you just made.\u00a0 Implement this with your blogging efforts and let me know if it has helped you worked smarter and not harder, I hope you learned how to create quality content on your blog<\/em> from my article.<\/p>\n
