I actually have bought a lot of stuff, online, offline, products, services, memberships and so on from people I haven\u2019t known before. Maybe we have talked a little bit but nothing like a \u201crelationship\u201d. I bet so have you.<\/p>\n
Last night during commercial breaks while watching \u201c40 years ABBA\u201d I watched the first video of the \u201cCosta Rica Intensive\u201d from Empower Network.<\/p>\n
Several things Dave Wood<\/strong> said rang a bell:<\/p>\n Let\u2019s look at the last of these statements first<\/p>\n Let\u2019s not kidd each other or yourself. Though you only get paid by the end of the month if you have a job, the only reason why you have this job is to make money. Maybe you like what you do but you still get paid. You would not do it for free. That would be called: hobby \u2013 or slavery.<\/p>\n Not having to wait a month is even more appealing? Or making as much as you want. Not be told when to start or finish your work. How much vacation or when. Or even if and when you are allowed to take a bathroom break.<\/p>\n I want it now. And lots.<\/p>\n What\u2019s this \u201cbuild a relationship first \u2013 before you pitch your deal\u201d nonsense about? The first part is said and the second part nobody says out loud.<\/p>\n You talk to random people for days and weeks and eventually pop the question if they want to buy from you or join you? How can you know when is the right time? In the mean time they have joined your business through someone else. What if someone did that to you? How does that<\/em> make you feel?<\/p>\n Another point I\u2019d like to make here<\/strong>: wouldn\u2019t it be better to build the relationship AFTER someone has bought from you or joined you? Wouldn\u2019t it be more honest and sincere?<\/p>\n Every time I joined a business I was told to make a list and call everybody which I did the first few times. Exactly, I burned all my relationships, my warm market. I even developed a phone phobie. Yikes!<\/p>\n A few weeks I got into Mentoring For Free because I just had enough and finally want to find out what I was doing wrong and to learn to do it right. Mostly though because of the personality colors.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t get me wrong, I really like the teachings, the audios and how they approach everything. But, again, I\u2019m supposed to call people. While it might be fun to find out what color someone is (I keep telling myself), the first person we called said to call again in 10 minutes and then told us she had not downloaded the ebook yet (Success in 10 Steps<\/a>). We made a new appointment and then she was not home, we tried for half an hour. The next one we called, the phone number was not correct. Frustrating? You bet! It just sucks!<\/p>\n Pounding the phone all day<\/strong> is not fun it actually sucks fish tards and it ruins a lot of good people. How many people do you know who quit Network Marketing because of the phone?<\/p>\n Isn\u2019t it more honest? I think it\u2019s even liberting!<\/strong><\/p>\n And I can still build relationships \u201cbefore\u201d they buy because I don\u2019t need that thought in the back of my mind, \u2018is it the right time to pitch them yet?\u2019 anymore.<\/p>\n I personally think so.<\/p>\n So, if you buy from me, expect a phone call from me\u2026 because maybe I\u2019ll call you And I\u2019ll happily build a relationship with you. We can use phone, Skype, facebook, emails. That\u2019s what my sponsor and I use. We built a relationship AFTER I bought from her. I didn\u2019t know her. I had no reason to trust or not trust her and because I didn\u2019t know her \u2018like\u2019 was no issue either. I looked at her offer and bought \u2013 and have not regretted yet.<\/p>\n Maybe one day I\u2019ll even visit her in Irland.<\/p>\n Does that make sense to you?
