<\/strong>The fans still want a movie<\/h3>\nEven after after all those years since the last airing of the last episode \u201cFriend in Need\u201d, which a lot of fans have still not seen, or only once (me) and refuse to watch it again (me) because it\u2019s just too painful for them, for us (for me).<\/p>\n

We want Xena to kick butt again and Gabrielle to fight with her bardic skills \u2013 and kick butt.<\/p>\n
They have been such strong role models for a lot of young girls and older gals.<\/p>\n
Will it happen?<\/h2>\n
Even though those gals still look really good and fit and are friends and show up at the Xena Conventions (usually in LA) \u2013 it\u2019s not very likely they\u2019ll do it. Even if the dispute about the rights is over and the movie company is ready, are Lucy and Renee up to it? Show that much skin at their age?<\/p>\n
But that\u2019s my opinion. I don\u2019t mind if Lucy Lawless and Renee O\u2019Connor prove me wrong.<\/p>\n
Besides the script is ready, and what I\u2019ve heard it\u2019s been written by the lovely Katherine Fugate who has written some of the best episode. Well, I like the ones from Steven Sears, too ![\";-)\"](\"http:\/\/www.empowernetwork.com\/Xarah\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_wink.gif\")

A few years ago I heard about a rumor the movie guys are waiting for Lucy and Renee to be too old so they could hire other actresses. Honestly, do we want to see other actresses pretending to be Xena and Gabrielle? Or see them in rocking chairs watching their off-spring saving the world?<\/p>\n
