Hasn\u2019t just about everybody on the face of the earth been presented with at least one online or network marketing<\/a> business opportunity<\/u>?<\/p>\n I know I am not alone in getting offers everyday in email and in person.<\/p>\n What happens with all these offers and propositions?<\/p>\n MOSTLY NOTHING!\u00a0<\/strong>(At least relatively speaking from the millions of offers that get presented.)<\/p>\n Is that REJECTION?<\/strong><\/p>\n People don\u2019t even LOOK, myself included, most of the time because we do not have time or do not want to take the time because we\u2019re not sure it will be worth our time.<\/p>\n I use to think this was a New York City thing. But I don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n And maybe it\u2019s not so much, that people do not have time.<\/p>\n Maybe it\u2019s more the interruption?<\/strong>\u00a0How rude we often are, suggesting people should look at our stuff at anytime, really.<\/p>\n People really are truly and sincerely quite comfortable,<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Watching TV<\/strong> AND WHAT\u2019S WRONG WITH THAT?<\/strong><\/p>\n WELL, EXCEPT FOR THAT JOB THING. IF PEOPLE WANT TO GET AHEAD, perhaps even become financially free, THEY GOT TO AT LEAST BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND IT A\u2019INT NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN IN A JOB.<\/strong><\/p>\n So, if that is the case, we have to interrupt them.<\/p>\n Because really, how many people out there are looking for our particular opportunity or any opportunity for that matter? I know we like to think they are, but if I use myself as an example I know I never was looking for an opportunity during my entire 6 years in network marketing, even though I have been with 7 different companies during that period.<\/p>\n Even in the beginning, when I was initially introduced to network marking by my daughter Leslie, my life was interrupted. I was not looking nor was I interested in her business opportunity<\/strong><\/em>. In fact, my mother said I only joined her company because she was my daughter and I wanted to support her.<\/p>\n Actually, that is not a bad way to get people in your business.<\/p>\n And for those that are already in a network marking opportunity, really, how many of those people really are looking for something NEW.<\/p>\n I know of the seven network marketing opportunities I was in, I never sought another company because I was quite comfortable with the one I was doing. This seems to be true with most MLM\u2019ers. They are quite comfortable where they are, and ALWAYS believe their business opportunity<\/em> to be the best on the planet. <\/strong><\/p>\n Yes, we have to interrupt people in some way to get them to look look at our opportunities.<\/p>\n That\u2019s it. And by the way, we cannot predict what they might find possible and of interest for themselves.<\/p>\n So, how do we interrupt them?<\/p>\n \u2022 Automated text, phone messages? The BIG Question for network marketers is,<\/p>\n How should we go about interrupting<\/em> what people are doing to look at our business opportunity<\/em><\/strong>?<\/p>\n Most of our mentors tell us we must develop a relationship with people first. No argument there except that can be a painstaking and relatively slow process unless we are dead serious about helping others all the time no matter what their needs or desires might be.<\/p>\n It seems advertising with compelling sales copy and presentation materials seems to work.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n WE NEED TO HAVE AN APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTAND WHEN PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE TIME TO LOOK AT OUR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY THAT IT IS NOT REJECTION.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n WE NEED TO ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS REALLY PERFECTLY ALRIGHT FOR PEOPLE TO BE WHERE THEY ARE. \n\u2022 Facebook and LinkedIn messages?
\n\u2022 What about facebook posts and tweets? Even there people frequently accuse us of spamming.<\/p>\n\n
So in interrupting people\u2019s lives to present your business opportunity, I suggest dong so with understanding and patience, the latter of which my wife says I do not have. Remember, if they say no, it is not REJECTION.<\/h3>\n
