HANDLE ON THE LEFT<\/h2>\n

I was talking with a professional baseball coach this morning and our conversation came around to dealing with negative people.<\/p>\n

There are just some people\u2026 too many of them, actually, who think they have to run interference into the lives of others when it wasn\u2019t asked for.<\/p>\n

In my home based business industry, I see it all the time.<\/strong>\u00a0 Family members shun one another and step on their dreams, telling them they can\u2019t do it, it\u2019s a scam, they aren\u2019t good enough, they\u2019re crazy to think they can be an entrepreneur, and so on.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a super killer of dreams.<\/p>\n

Coach said it\u2019s the same in his profession.<\/strong><\/p>\n

People will scream out calling players names, calling them stupid, or the umpire stupid, or the coach stupid.<\/p>\n

He shared the chatter from the sidelines and from the stands do hit the ears of the players and it can effect the game if you let it.<\/p>\n

The pressure to perform is already tremendous, and then you have the chatter being screamed at you during the entire game.<\/p>\n

Handle on the Left<\/h2>\n

Coach instituted a term with those under his watch and his teams always used it.\u00a0 The term is \u2018handle on the left<\/span>\u2018.<\/p>\n

Anytime players were yelled at from the sidelines, coach would yell to the player\u2026<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cHey\u2026 handle on the left!\u201d<\/p>\n

That was code for \u2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cFlush that crap down the toilet!\u00a0 Don\u2019t listen to that!\u00a0 You can do it!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It was a way to shake it off and let it go.\u00a0 The sidelines were ignorant and were acting like clowns.\u00a0 What their opinion or words were didn\u2019t matter one bit to the team.<\/p>\n

Coach said it worked.<\/p>\n

You have to have a plan<\/h2>\n

You have to have a plan for negative feedback and ignorant people who understand nothing about having dreams and pursuing them.<\/p>\n

Coach had a plan and he had to use the plan every game!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Home based business entrepreneur have to have a plan also.\u00a0<\/strong> Come up with your own or adopt \u2018handle on the left\u2019 if need be.\u00a0 Coach would be happy to have you use that.<\/p>\n

Stay focused on your end game.\u00a0 You gotta play the game to get there, but you can do it.<\/p>\n

I believe in you!\u00a0 Coach believes in you!<\/p>\n
