Do You Feel Like Your Broke As A Joke?<\/h2>\n

\nEvery now and then I get a post over on the blog from a person just starting out in the industry that starts with \u201cI\u2019m Dead Broke<\/strong>!\u201d or \u201cI\u2019m Broke<\/em> As A
\nJoke!\u201d<\/p>\n

And my immediate thought is \u201cSo?\u201d<\/p>\n

Read what Gina posted.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo start off I am broke<\/span> as a joke; looking for something better than corporate america.
\nI want to try working as an affiliate; I\u2019ve signed up with xyz and looked at a few things on there; some seem interesting, some not.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I don\u2019t get.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do I need a website? How much is this going to cost? Like I said I\u2019m broke as joke.
\nTrying to get a leg up! I just really don\u2019t know where or how to begin.<\/p>\n

I think it\u2019s tough to start a business with that broke frame of mind.<\/p>\n

When you repeat that you\u2019re broke all the time what\u2019s your mind focusing on?<\/p>\n

What you focus on increases, so you gotta get out of that broke mind frame and focus on more positive things before you do anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to focus on what we don\u2019t have, but honestly what does that get you besides more of the same old being broke?<\/p>\n

And the honest truth is, it\u2019s just as easy to think the other way.<\/p>\n

Why not day dream of the success<\/a> and prosperity to come in your future? Seems a lot more pleasant than being broke, it doesn\u2019t require you actually have the
\nTHING focused on yet, but . . .<\/p>\n

It puts your focus in the right direction to get it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to break habits I know, and it\u2019s hard to rise above what worries you when it\u2019s right there smack in your face, but it can be done.<\/p>\n

It will take a little mental discipline and continued focus, but it will set the path.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s why this is important to your business, and maybe this is something you can\u2019t quite see yet.<\/p>\n

First, when you\u2019re trying to grow and all you focus on is what you don\u2019t have you simply can\u2019t because your broke. You try to get by on what appears to be the cheapest least risky path to success and as a result you never get anywhere.<\/p>\n

If you just switch that focus to what \u201ccould be\u201d and that vision is exciting to you what happens now when you\u2019re making decision to grow your business?<\/p>\n

You start to take a stab at that dream, you put what \u201cscarcity\u201d minded people would consider risk aside, because that excitement to gain is more powerful a motivator than the fear of loss and being broke.<\/p>\n

And . . .<\/p>\n

As a result you take your first steps into the real world of an entrepreneur, and eventually meet and surpass that original goal you set.<\/p>\n

Second, and most people have a hard time getting this one, but it\u2019s one of the most powerful ideas that you can make your own and prosper by . . .<\/p>\n

Money is nothing more than energy. It\u2019s a tool \u2013 great if you have some, but it ain\u2019t necessary or essential. I start my business on a credit card and dream, and to most that\u2019s risky, but to me that\u2019s opportunity.

Too many people think of money as a physical thing, something that\u2019s finite, that takes up space, and that once you run out your life is over. Far far from it . . .<\/p>\n

Many of the most successful entrepreneurs on the planet, like Donald Trump,\u00a0 have gone broke and bankrupt \u2013 $0 and a huge amount of debt, and made it all back again. Why? They understand what money really is \u2013 just energy that can always be replenished.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why I never got those guys that would just horde away the money that they earn as if they can\u2019t get more. Sure save some, create a cushion for yourself, but trying to hold onto it all just never made sense to me.
\nMoney, is energy, a tool to be used to attain your end. For me that\u2019s mastery of marketing, for you it may be something totally different, but it\u2019s a tool to attain that end and surpass it none the less.<\/p>\n

I count my blessing every day I have the money to pay for new marketing education because it\u2019s my passion, in other words I want the knowledge and experience more than the money and as a results the business grows.<\/p>\n

Now the last thing I\u2019ll say here in is this . . .<\/p>\n

The bigger your business grows the bigger the opportunities, the more of them, the bigger the risks, and the more of them, if you\u2019re not willing to flex your muscles when you\u2019re small, you won\u2019t have the strength to grow big.<\/p>\n
