I could honestly have left after today\u2019s sessions and be totally fine.<\/p>\n
Obviously I\u2019m going to go to the second half of the course\u2026 but you know what I mean <\/p>\n
To get down to Costa Rica for the Masters Mind Retreat\u2026 I had to pinch every cent I could get a hold of, borrow from a few different sources, probably not be able to eat for the next month and potentially sacrificing going to school next year.<\/p>\n

About 10 years ago, I lived in Bondi Beach in Sydney Australia.<\/p>\n
Because I\u2019m Canadian, and like a freakin\u2019 idiot, I brought my hockey gear all the way to Australia with me (you should have seen the reactions I got with my hockey gear while I was in the Cook Islands and Fiji) cause I knew there was hockey in Australia, but I just didn\u2019t know where it was.<\/p>\n
I finally found some hockey one night from 11pm \u2013 12am about 45 minutes away from Bondi. There was a problem. The last train back left at 11:30 pm. I didn\u2019t have a car because I was a broke backpacker.<\/p>\n
So I sat on the fence and debated\u2026<\/p>\n
It would be cool to play hockey tonight\u2026 but how and the hell am I going to get back home?<\/em> I thought about taking a cab but it would have been a ridiculous fare. The more I thought about it, the more I was content with just chillin\u2019 at the hostel tonight\u2026 again\u2026 and the same thing I did the night before that.<\/p>\nThen I thought\u2026<\/p>\n
\n\nYou know what\u2026 I\u2019m gonna go to hockey and I\u2019ll worry about how I\u2019m getting home after

So I just grabbed my hockey gear, took a train to the rink, knowing I had NO IDEA how I was getting back.<\/p>\n
As I was on the ice, I started talking to a guy. He was Canadian as well. I found out he only lived a few hours away from where I did back in Canada. Now in Canada, because it\u2019s so huge, we were practically neighbors.<\/p>\n
We started talking about Australia and how we were enjoying our stay here. I was curious to where he lived in Sydney because there is over 400 suburbs and over 5 million people here.<\/p>\n
Our convo went a little like this:<\/p>\n
\n\nMe: What\u2019s your name again dude?
\nHim: Brian
\nMe: Where do you live in Sydney?
\nBrian: Bondi Beach
\nMe: So do I! On what street?
\nBrian: Campbell Parade
\nMe: So do I! Hey question for ya\u2026 do you mind giving me a ride back after this?\n<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
From that decision of going to hockey that one night EVEN THOUGH I had no idea how I was getting back, I took a little risk if you will\u2026 and to this day, Brain and I are best friends.<\/p>\n
I couldn\u2019t imagine my life without having Brian in it as he has helped me out through some very difficult times I\u2019ve had to deal with.<\/p>\n
I even stood in his wedding as a groomsman.<\/p>\n
I have a little challenge for you<\/h2>\n
