Don\u2019t Hard Teach<\/h3>\n<p>Big Mistake<\/p>\n<p>Hard teaching will produce lost of fans, but few customers<\/p>\n<p>And also attracts the freebie-seekers<\/p>\n<p>Not only that, but most people feel bombarded by too much content<\/p>\n<p>You hear that \u201ccontent is king\u201d, but that\u2019s not entirely true.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More correctly, the \u201cright\u201d content is king<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Instead of hard teaching, <span>bait the hook<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Tell your audience \u201cwhat\u201d to do\u2026 but not completely \u201chow\u201d to do it (which is valuable, people love it)<\/p>\n<p>Test teaching versus baiting, and see for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>As an example, let\u2019s say you had a product that taught how to use bullet points effectively.<\/p>\n<p>In your blog, you could talk about why to use bullet points, why bullet points are great, why they need it, but not HOW.<\/p>\n<p>That way, there\u2019s no way to execute without getting your product, opting in, etc.<\/p>\n<h3>2. Write like you talk \u2013 warts and all<\/h3>\n<p>This will make writing easier, and make you seem more real.<\/p>\n<p><strong>People like to do business with real people who are imperfect like they are.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Use your own unique figures of speech, slang.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, don\u2019t say anything you wouldn\u2019t say in front of your grandma.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Tell Stories<\/h3>\n<p>Telling stories is the easiest way to write a <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/blogging\/\">blog post<\/a>..<\/p>\n<p><strong>And stories are\u00a0the chief way in which human beings share, process, and remember information.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Use\u00a0examples from real life.<\/p>\n<p>Good stories go viral!<\/p>\n<h3>4. Inspire<\/h3>\n<p>Everone is looking for inspiration!<\/p>\n<p>Inspiring content makes people feel good about themselves and you.<\/p>\n<p>People like to share inspiring stories (viral)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inspiration often does\u00a0a better job of selling even when not \u201csalesy\u201d<\/strong> because inspired people take action!<\/p>\n<h3>5. Q &amp; A<\/h3>\n<p>Implementing Q &amp; A is very easy.. \u00a0Just probe your audience for questioins, and publish the answers as a Q &amp; A.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a reason columns like Dear Abby gets such big readership.<\/p>\n<p>This type of content is innocent looking \u2013 doesn\u2019t look \u201cselly\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the Q &amp; A content is done, you can transition very smoothly into a call to action\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want more information, subscribe to my site\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>6. Checklists<\/h3>\n<p>You can make lists of\u2026<\/p>\n<p>-Things you see your audience doing wrong (ex. 9 dumb email marketing mistakes)<\/p>\n<p>-Things they should be doing<\/p>\n<p>-List of resources (often go viral)<\/p>\n<p>Checklists tells your audience \u201cwhat\u201d to do and are very useful without hard teaching (still need your product for details)<\/p>\n<h3>7.
