I worked 33 years as a production worker for years. It was easy to climb the ladder in production, you just post (sign your name) to a production job position and if you had the highest senority number the position was yours. In the beginning, others beat me by senority time and time again, but as the years passed and people dropped out by quitting or by moving into management, I began to have no trouble at all getting any position I wanted.<\/p>\n

The first 20 years were great! I made plenty of money. I had very little financial issues. I was saving money and having a good life.<\/p>\n

The last 13 years begin to get a little rocky. Our Management changed. A younger management team with no experience moved in and the older workers were ignored. In 2008, manufacturing was outsourced to Asia, I lost my profitable position and my salary was reduced. I was angry because our expertise was no longer welcomed and we were back to doing mindless, repetitive work. <\/p>\n

I was ready to get out as soon as I could retire.<\/p>\n

Retirement: Dec. 2011 Happy, happy, happy. I dreamed of the day I would walk down that hallway for the last time. I would imagine how good it would feel. Then the day came and all expectations were met. I was FREE!<\/p>\n

It really felt like I had been imprisoned for 33 years. Even two years later, I still feel that ball and chain lifted from my shoulders. <\/p>\n

I already knew what my next career would be. I was going to be a caregiver. One month after retirement that became a reality. BUT caregivers only make minimum wage<\/strong>. It really pays to LOVE this job for the small paycheck you receive. I do!<\/p>\n

I also knew I wanted to be an internet marketer. I started that in 2008 when I lost much of my salary at the factory.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t as easy or profitable as I thought it would be. Frankly, I didn\u2019t know what I was doing and the companies I invested my time and money in didn\u2019t provide any training on how to build your business. You were to walk around Walmart, shopping malls, etc and introduce your business to complete strangers who would look at you as if you were crazy. Wasn\u2019t working for me.<\/p>\n

We were to have house parties and invite friends and neighbors over to listen to a presentation. That didn\u2019t work for me either.
\nWe were to bring people to the meetings every Tuesday for a presentation by one of our leaders. Nope, not happening.
\nWe were to schedule meetings with people and show a DVD presentation. I did plenty of those but no one signed up. Time and money lost.<\/p>\n

In 2013, the company I invested in for four years was shut down by the FTC. I believed in this company, I intended to stay with this company because of the products they offered. Four years, time and money wasted.<\/p>\n

Three months before that company failed, I came across Empower Network. This company was totally different then what I had invested in before. NO home or hotel meetings, NO belly to belly conversations with strangers, NO wandering around Walmart or shopping malls. How refreshing! I sucked at all that anyway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best part is EN provides the marketing training I needed in all my previous companies..training the company, itself, did not provide for me, they just threw me out there to learn on my own (which didn\u2019t work for me).<\/p>\n

Now I have MENTORS, leaders helping with marketing skills to develop my business so I can be successful. YES! Finally. Online audio and video training, webinars, Google Hangouts, a Facebook Page with members helping me with questions I might have.
