Is there a face primer out there that will suit all skin types and will do the job that is published on their product?<\/p>\n
I have used countless primers where I have spent a huge amount of money on them but yet again I still haven\u2019t found a primer that fully pleases me.<\/p>\n
MAC cosmetics have a range of primers that a lot of people rave about all over the world. The most widely used one is \u2018prep and prime\u2019 which is quite recently priced at British price of \u00a319. It is meant to suit all skin types, particularly oily skin, and it\u2019s meant to ensure your foundation stays put all day but I\u2019m not sure.<\/p>\n
Whether my skin is that dodgy that no primer on this world will suit it but again before I purchased this primer I read all the reviews on the MAC Cosmetics website. The vast majority of purchasers had commented that it was the best primer they had ever brought and their make up stayed fresh all day long where without it, the make up would normally slide off.<\/p>\n
This excellent feedback is what prompted me to make the purchase but I never really seemed to get on with the primer.<\/p>\n
Another primer that is what people rave about across the world is \u2018Mineral Veil\u2019. This primer is very expensive as it is over \u00a340 in British pounds. If you read the feedback from people who have purchased this, the feedback is probably the best I\u2019ve seen for a primer. Again it didn\u2019t do a bad job but I still wanted more. Again is my skin that dodgy that no primer will ever ensure my make up stays put all day or I am wearing the wrong sort of make up. I don\u2019t think I am because I am wearing mineral make up by global brand where millions of people swear by the product.<\/p>\n
Maybe I might not be applying the primer correctly? Maybe I am putting the primer on and then waiting too long before applying my make up? Or is the other way round? I watched a lady on you tube apply her make up and she didn\u2019t wait for things to settle on her face she just applied the make up products one by one, immediately one after the other. And her face glowed at the end and her face was full of acne.<\/p>\n
I have tried out primers by Revlon, Rimmel and Benefit but no other product does the job as well as Mineral Veil but I am gutted that I still have to touch up my make up after using Mineral Veil as a primer as little as 2 hours afterwards whereas if I listened to the rave reviews, I shouldn\u2019t have to do this.<\/p>\n
I will pursue with Mineral Veil but in the mean time I will hope another face primer comes on to the market which will fully please me. I live in hope that I can apply my make up in the morning and that I won\u2019t have to touch it up again until the evening as it will last all day.<\/p>\n
