We\u2019ve all been there. \u00a0We might start stomping our feet, like a child throwing a temper. \u00a0We put on a nice, big frown like we\u2019ve smelled a skunk in the area. \u00a0I\u2019ve been there too, but this is the great news.<\/p>\n

The law of consistency says that if you keep doing what you\u2019re doing frequently you will develop a habit and become good at it over time. \u00a0Also, people will take notice of your expertise because of the evolution of your craft. \u00a0It\u2019s a great concept that I learned in the restaurant industry and the strength and conditioning field.<\/p>\n

A shining example of the law of consistency are the cooks who move through the ranks to chef.<\/h2>\n

There was a time when\u00a0Ming Tsai\u00a0used to not know how to cook. \u00a0I can speak about him because I worked at his restaurant. \u00a0He\u2019s a great guy and an amazing cook. \u00a0By the time I started working at his restaurant, he had been consistently cooking professionally for about 20 years.<\/p>\n

I was lucky enough to hear the amount of wisdom he bestowed on us about cooking and I was floored. \u00a0He doesn\u2019t often cook\u00a0on the line<\/em>\u00a0(lingo for in the kitchen), but when he did, I watched intensely, trying my hardest to get close to him like a rockstar.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m very positive that his level of expertise was quite low 20 years ago. \u00a0Do you get my point? \u00a0He worked everyday at his craft with a\u00a0humongous\u00a0amount of sweat. \u00a0(It\u2019s hot in the kitchen. \u00a0But don\u2019t worry, it never landed in the food. \u00a0Or did it?) \u00a0It is his passion and his level of consistency has made him one the few celebrity chefs in the world.<\/p>\n

Apply the law of consistency to your passion. \u00a0Do not think of it as work, but about getting better. \u00a0Over time, you will get better. \u00a0Your blogging with get better, your SEO will get better, your copywriting will get better, and anything else you do\u00a0consistently\u2026will get better.<\/p>\n
