Although I am not a surfer I still love Rincon, Puerto Rico. Rincon\u00a0 is one of the best towns in Western Puerto Rico<\/strong> because of the great beaches, the tasty restaurants, the laid back lifestyle, the weather is summer temps everyday of the year and there are many people who are from the states living there.<\/p>\n I am a small business owner and this has allowed me the privledge to go to Rincon and spend a couple of weeks there hanging out on the beaches and soaking up the warm Western Puerto Rico<\/em> sunshine ever year for the last three years. The house we stay in is off Sea Beach Drive in downtown Rincon and is a stones throw away from the beach where we swam everyday. The view from the second story deck is of the ocean, the beautiful flowered trees and the short walking path to the ocean, we could also hear the crash of the waves from where we would drink our coffee every morning.<\/p>\n Over the last 10 years I have been able to take my family to many destinations in the Caribbean. We have stayed in Aruba, St. Kitts, St. Martin, St. Thomas, St. Lucia,\u00a0 and a few others that I can\u2019t recall right now. I would have to say that Western Puerto Rico is my favorite place to vacation and would make a great place to live. The town of Rincon has many people from the United States living there and for their own reasons.<\/p>\n One of the reasons I would like to live there and one day soon I will be, is the weather is summer 365 days\u00a0 a year, even when its rainy its still in the high 70\u2032s or low 80\u2032s and at some point the sun shows its self at some point during the day. Western Puerto Rico<\/span> is very tropical and because I am from Maine where it is cold and miserable for the better part of the year, as i get older I have grown to love being in the tropical weather.<\/p>\n If you ever visit Western Puerto Rico<\/strong> I would suggest you try to find a place to stay in Rincon. Where we stay is a short walk to the Econo, which is where you can buy all of your groceries, and on the way there is a fresh fruit stand on Main Street that has great prices on locally grown fruits and vegetables such\u00a0 as bananas, mango\u2019s, oranges, plantain\u2019s, onions, and also Puerto Rico grown coffee. If you were ever homeless in Western Puerto Rico and you went hungry it is because of your own stupidity because fresh food can be found along the roadside every where that you go.<\/p>\n A short walk down the beach from where we stay is a place called The Cofresi, this is a great place right on the beach where you can get a chicken pincho for a snack and drink the coldest Medallia beer I have ever had in \u201cWestern Puerto Rico\u201d. Right across the street from Sea Beach drive is a great restaurant called The Tropical, they serve very good steak, fried plantains, and some great fresh seafood.<\/p>\n The Beaches In Western Puerto Rico<\/strong><\/p>\n A couple of my favorite beaches that we go to are Crashboats in Aquadillia. On the beach you will find plywood fishing boats thats are used by local fisherman everyday to catch Maui Maui, Red Snapper, and an assortment of other fresh fish. My favorite beach that I have found so far is in Cabo Rojo. It is somewhat secluded, you drive out a bumpy winding dirt road where you will cross some salt flats and just when you think you are lost you come to some big rocks across the road. Here is where you park and walk about 100 yards and you find yourself on one of the most beautiful in Western Puerto Rico<\/strong>. there are ledges on both sides and a Light House on the right over looking the cove.
