Empower Network Event Review\"Empower<\/a><\/h2>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t be a Wussy 2012\u2033<\/em><\/p>\n

Say what?!!#@@!<\/p>\n

Yeah, that was the name of the very first Empower Network<\/a> Event!! Hard to believe until you meet David Wood and David Sharpe, the two maverick founders of the Empower Network (see my bizarrely titled article on how I first met Dave Wood here). (By the way, here\u2019s my full Empower Network review<\/a>)<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s true.. they really did name their very first event \u201cDon\u2019t Be A Wussy\u201d!<\/p>\n

Now, going through customs as I did coming from Canada, I was a little concerned I\u2019d actually have to tell the customs officer the crazy ass name of this event too! (Weeks earlier I\u2019d been asked by a customs officer for the name of another marketing event I was attending lol).<\/p>\n

Anyway, let\u2019s get back on track here \u2013 this is my very first Empower Network event review \u2013 my first review of the first event. Hopefully this Empower Network event review<\/strong> will reveal to you a little more of what goes on at these events if you missed it (we had to sign a non-disclosure agreement to enter the room so not all secrets will be shared\u2026) and..<\/p>\n

..help you decide if you want to fight the forces of evil (\u201cFight the Forces of Evil 2012\u2033 is actually the name of the next Empower Network event at the end of September lol which I\u2019ll review next time around!).<\/p>\n

\u00a0 Empower Network Event Review \u2013 The Surprise that was waiting for me on arrival..<\/h2>\n

Wow. I had arrived in a rush (and even a little late) after our airport shuttle got stuck in traffic and rushed up to the registration desk outside the event room after dropping my small suitcase and relieving my bodyguard of his duties (just kidding, but wait until you hear about the \u201creal bodyguards\u201d at the event further below..!).<\/p>\n

I could barely make myself heard \u2013 myself and dozens of others were queueing up to register and hand in our NDA (non-disclosure agreements) in poorly formed queues, waiting impatiently to get in on the action at the very first\u00a0Empower Network event. Reviewing my signed form, the registration clerk, a warm girl named Stephanie, ushered me on, and I finally entered the lions den!!<\/em><\/p>\n

Boom! What a noise!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apparently 1200+ strong (and more on the Saturday), the crowd were on their feet as I entered the room, not for me, at least not this time lol (!), but with heads turned toward the stage, they were enthusiastically chanting \u201cDon\u2019t Be a Wussy\u201d \u2013 David Sharpe\u2019s dream had been to be in a crowd full of people shouting those hilarious words at an Empower Network live event.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was electric!<\/strong> I\u2019d never been to a marketing event 1200 strong and the people were a special breed \u2013 from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all parts of the world \u2013 even as far as Hong Kong, Australia, and Ireland! As good as the talks at the event were, it was the amazing people all united in cause, that made the Empower Network live event so special. What energy!<\/p>\n

Empower Network Event Review \u2013 Should You Go to the Next One?<\/h2>\n

Clearly I didn\u2019t just go to the event to write this \u201cEmpower Network event review\u201d<\/strong> \u2013 I\u2019m not some paid journalist lol.. so I genuinely went because I expected it to make a difference in my life and business. \u00a0Was I disappointed? Overall, it was hands down the most eye-opening event of all events I\u2019ve been to over the last 2 years. \u00a0More on that in a second, but first let me just confess that I was a little disappointed. Only a little.. and only at first. Look, I want to give you the true lowdown with a \u00a0balanced Empower Network event review here..<\/p>\n

You see, to be honest, I was expecting a nuts and bolts strategy session at some point during the Empower network live event and I had to wait until Sunday to hear two presentations which fell squarely into the \u201cHow to\u201d category. And these were powerful.. and honestly worth many times what my investment was to attend (including flight and hotel).
\n..But I soon realized that by focusing on the How to I was largely missing the point.<\/p>\n

\"Empower<\/a><\/p>\n

Let me explain\u2026<\/strong>
\nWhat\u2019s the biggest difference between those who succeed and fail\u2026?<\/p>\n

Is it really a lack of knowledge? but the reality is that very few people actually take consistent action<\/span>..<\/p>\n

So are you totally committed to success? Easy to say \u201cYes\u201d right? But what does it mean and take? To me being committed means pushing forward hard and smart until success is achieved, no matter what.<\/p>\n

But where does commitment come from? Having something really clear to shoot for is big, but for many in the complicated online marketing world where so many new skills must be learned, it\u2019s BELIEF\u2026<\/p>\n

Belief that it\u2019s possible to succeed.<\/p>\n

Belief that by devoting the many hours required to your Empower Network business, that you too will have financial success.<\/p>\n
