\u00a0His pain level around the right side of his mouth was excrutiating and the pain meds did not work.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After years of not being able to walk, minimal use of his arms and hands, loss of hearing, difficulty eating and drinking, his body just gave out! \u00a0Now all that have been a part of his life are going through a grieving process!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As I read the quote on the image above, I think how true this statement is! \u00a0It hits me the hardest at night, when I lay down to sleep and I begin to sob. \u00a0I was the caregiver of my husband; my goal was to keep him at home, and not send him to a nursing home.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During all of this grief, like many other people who have lost loved ones, I have to plan a funeral and contact many different institutions regarding my husbands death. \u00a0I guess the only good thing about doing all these things, is it keeps me busy!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>My husband had many medical equipment at home, including a hospital bed, an oxygen machine and a backup one, a wheelchair, a motorized chair, and a hoyer lift. \u00a0This does not include all the pills, morphine, and other drugs that were given for his pain and MS!<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>I know \u00a0I need to be grateful for his presence in my life; and concentrate on the good times. \u00a0My husband, Ron, had a sharp wit and could be very funny. \u00a0He loved his children and he made sure that they had a college fund. \u00a0We lived very frugally at times, so that we could regularly put away for our kids college,<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To \u00a0end it all, I believe this <u>grief quote<\/u> says it all&#8230;. &#8220;I think faith is incredibly important because you will become overwhelmed with what&#8217;s happening and you will have waves of grief, but when you turn to your faith, I believe God will give you waves of peace to get through it.&#8221; (Joel Olsteen)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1 of 1 Grief quotes \u00a0 Grief quotes are helping me through these tough times. \u00a0My husband of 25 years, passed away on February 17th. \u00a0He had an aggressive form of mutiple sclerosis, and an aggressive form of trigeminal neuralgia!
