I had no plans to write about Zeek Rewards this week.<\/p>\n
Everyone and their brother is hopping on the news about Zeek being shut down this week and declared a Ponzi Scheme.<\/p>\n
I am not going to get into the specifics of all that happened.<\/p>\n
There are countless numbers of articles, news posts, and videos circulating the web right now that are more detailed about what happened and why.<\/p>\n
My beef is with the countless number of vultures<\/strong> that are feasting on this news.<\/p>\n People coming out of the woodwork to gloat at the undoing of a company that provided income to thousand of individuals.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n The \u201cI told you so\u201d group that are having a great time with this news.<\/p>\n I see these people as vultures<\/em> circling a freshly killed animal.<\/p>\n This makes me sick.<\/p>\n The entire events that have transpired in the past 72 hours has been sad to me.<\/p>\n Not just the loss of Zeek Rewards.<\/p>\n Full disclosure \u2013 I was a Zeek Rewards affiliate.<\/p>\n I had a downline, even though it was a relatively small one.<\/p>\n We are all big boys and girls. \u00a0 I made an adult business decision and knew that Zeek would be a risk.<\/p>\n The business model had its red flags.<\/p>\n But to me, it was worth a small investment and to see what happened.<\/p>\n My sole income was not dependent on Zeek Rewards.<\/p>\n But others were not so lucky.<\/p>\n My heart goes out to those that had a lot more at stake with Zeek Rewards than I did.<\/p>\n My heart goes out to my sponsor in Zeek who had several thousand dollars invested in the company and was looking for Zeek to be a form of retirement.<\/p>\n I feel for his<\/em> sponsor, who\u2019s only form of income was from Zeek Rewards and had over 2,000 people in his downline.<\/p>\n Think of the calls that he has had to make and receive in the last few days.<\/p>\n I have heard countless number of testimonies in the past couple days of how much Zeek Rewards meant to people.<\/p>\n People that had their lives changed for the better. \u00a0 People like you and me that were experiencing financial success for the first time.<\/p>\n This is not a time for celebration, folks.<\/p>\n This is a sad day. \u00a0 We as network marketers should rally together and lift our brothers and sisters up during this sad time.<\/span><\/em> \u00a0 Not circle them like vultures<\/span>.<\/p>\n There should not be a celebration in the death of Zeek Rewards. \u00a0 This is not a good thing for any network marketer.<\/p>\n This is a black eye to our industry and makes our jobs that much harder.<\/p>\n The things I have seen online the past few days have been pretty sickening.<\/p>\n Folks are using the fear of confused Zeek affiliates to recruit them.<\/p>\n The body of Zeek Rewards isn\u2019t even cold yet and the Vultures<\/span> are already trying to capitalize on this opportunity.<\/p>\n We as marketers can handle our business anyway we want.<\/p>\n That is what makes this industry great.<\/p>\n I think we should offer compassion and not opportunity right now.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Fear should not be used to recruit.<\/p>\n I will not use this as a way to bring people into my organization.<\/p>\n It simply is not the way I want to operate my business.<\/p>\n We are free to make our own decisions. \u00a0 That is why we do what we do.<\/p>\n But think long and hard about what your agenda is. \u00a0 Is it to help someone or is it to help yourself.<\/p>\n Let\u2019s not be a vulture<\/em>, but a lifeline for these people.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n P.S. \u00a0 Connect with Steve at:<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/steve.kallock<\/a><\/p>\nThe Vultures should remember lives were effected<\/h2>\n
