Kelvin, has been inventing things starting at a very young age.<\/p>\n He has invented, batteries generators, and transmitters all from using scrap and garbage parts in his community.<\/p>\n Kelvin is constantly overcoming challenges<\/em> and having to manufacture solutions.<\/p>\n I have attached a video of his story below.<\/p>\n Before you watch his inspiring story, I want you to notice a couple things.<\/p>\n A couple things that stood out to me.<\/p>\n First his attitude. \u00a0 He is constantly smiling.<\/p>\n He is always overcoming challenges<\/strong> and does it with a wonderful attitude.<\/p>\n The second thing I noticed was he has a very clear WHY.<\/p>\n I have talked about what my why is.<\/a><\/p>\n Everyone needs to have a WHY.<\/p>\n It is the reason for your existence in your business.<\/p>\n When you are faced with overcoming challenges<\/span> it is your WHY that keeps you focused.<\/p>\n It keeps you pushing through the adversity when it comes. \u00a0 And it will come<\/a>.<\/p>\n This 15 year old\u2019s WHY is very clear.<\/p>\n He wants to help his family.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n That brings me to the final thing I noticed.<\/p>\n His clear focus.<\/p>\n Finally before you watch it, notice his clear focus<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kelvin built a radio station from the materials he found in his village.<\/p>\n He was named DJ Focus.<\/p>\n In the video you can see how he got that name.<\/p>\n So here is Kelvin Doe\u2019s (aka DJ Focus) inspiring story:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Yes a 41 year old burnt out insurance salesman living in America can certainly learn from a bright and beautiful 15 year old with no resources.<\/p>\n I learned watching this today about overcoming challenges.<\/p>\n Kelvin Doe overcomes challenges everyday.<\/p>\n Challenges to bring hope to a poverty stricken community.<\/p>\n Overcoming challenges to help and provide for his family at 15.<\/p>\n What am I feeling sorry about?<\/p>\n I learned today from this kid that I can bring a great attitude.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n I certainly can not control everything that life throws at me.<\/p>\n But I can control my attitude.<\/p>\n I also learned that if you have a clearly defined WHY you will be successful at overcoming challenges.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n If you WHY is big enough you will certainly plow through the tough times.<\/p>\n And finally I learned that focus is key to achievement.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n We talk about it all three of these concepts, all the time, at Empower Network.<\/p>\n It is amazing to see Empower Network principles reinforced halfway across the world by a very wise teenage boy.<\/p>\n These principles are obviously universal.<\/p>\n![\"overcoming](\"http:\/\/i1135.photobucket.com\/albums\/m632\/mjbene\/sierraleone-1.jpg\")
