You know when conversations come up about Marriage and Divorce<\/strong>, I always think back to when my parents got a divorce when I was a teenager. It had to be one of the worst times in my life, and a definite life changer for sure. I hope it isn\u2019t true, but I\u2019m sure there are many out there that have gone through the same thing.<\/p>\n I was one of those\u00a0naive kids that thought a divorce in my family would never happen. I was seeing my friends parents going through them, and thought how sad it was for my friends for this to happen. I swear it wasn\u2019t that much longer when the divorce bug hit my parents too. Talk about being blind sided, I was floored. The worst part about it was my father was the one who left us high and dry.<\/p>\n I needs to be known that when the topic of Marriage and Divorce<\/em> comes into play, it just isn\u2019t about the parents. It is totally about the kids too. Being a young boy having your father who you looked up to leave you, and in my case like I am sure with many other young kids. Leaving without saying goodbye, it is devastating and a heart breaker.<\/p>\n Now, when I hear people talk about Marriage and Divorce, I think of my wife and commitment\u00a0for one, and also of it never ever going to happen as long as I am alive. I really feel for my co-workers at the job I work at that are going through some tough times right now in their relationships, and contemplating Divorce. I know them and their spouses, and I know they have children.<\/p>\n What I don\u2019t understand is how something that is suppose to be so sacred between two people, could go so wrong that the words Marriage and Divorce<\/strong> can come out in the same sentence. Maybe it\u2019s because my wife and I don\u2019t ever really have problems big enough to ever think about anything other than agreeing to disagree.<\/p>\n I don\u2019t know, that is just the way it seems to me, and speaking to my wife, that is her same feeling. It really is sad of how many people I know that have gone through a Marriage and Divorce<\/strong><\/em> more then once. You would think that they would have a better understanding of what went wrong the last time, and made the necessary corrections within themselves to assure that it doesn\u2019t happen again.<\/p>\n I shot a quick video sharing my thoughts and feelings about Marriage and Divorce, and wanted to share it with you.
