It all starts in the mind. I was listening to a conference call from David Wood<\/a>\u00a0(the hippy looking guy in the picture on the right) recently and one of the things he was sharing was the difference between a rich person and a poor person.<\/p>\n According to him, the difference is purely their mindset.<\/p>\n Their approach to getting money or resources.<\/p>\n A poor\/broke person says, \u2018I have no money!\u2019 A rich person says, \u2018Even though I don\u2019t have the money right now, I will find the money from somewhere. Then they will come up with the money<\/p>\n So if you are wondering why you are working a job (or maybe two), you are working every under hour under the sun and you still can\u2019t afford the things you want<\/a>, you may need to address your mindset.<\/p>\n For a start, there is power in your words! How much time do you spend confessing with your mouth that you are broke?<\/p>\n STOP!\u00a0\u00a0Don\u2019t keep asking \u2018Why am I broke?\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n What you confess with your mouth affects your unconscious mind. The spoken word is so powerful.<\/p>\n For years I asked myself, this same question, \u2018Why am I broke?\u2019<\/p>\n Then there came a point where I started to learn about the power of my words and started to speak differently. It truly chnaged my approach. I found I no longer wallowed in self-pity but began to look for a way to change my situation. That ultimately changed the course I was on.<\/p>\n So\u2026.<\/p>\n WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP BEING BROKE?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Start to confess that you are wealthy or that you have money! Maybe even set a goal of how much you would like to earn and speak it out loud every day.<\/p>\n 2. Make a decision that you are going to find a way to change your situaton.<\/p>\n 3. Make a plan of what you are going to do to change your situation \u2013 may I at this point make a suggestion? Whatever you have written down and planned to do, do it!<\/p>\n Nothing will happen unless you actually act on what you have planned.<\/p>\n One of the biggest things that will stop you asking \u2018Why am I broke<\/strong>?\u2019 and I learnt this from a guy called Chris Record, is changing the way you phrase your question.<\/p>\n Instead of asking \u2018Why am I broke<\/span>?\u2019 try asking, \u2018What can I do to get more money?\u2019<\/p>\n You will soon find your self becoming inventive or because you are unconsciously thinking about this you may stumble upon some gem for extra income<\/a>.<\/p>\n Wherever you are at, just know that there is a way out.
