In my journey to creating wealth<\/strong>, I am discovering some powerful principles that I believe anybody on this journey needs to grasp in order to make money and change their situation.<\/p>\n

I am learning about the principle of \u00a0being content but not comfortable.<\/p>\n

What do I mean by that?<\/p>\n

Creating wealth: Contentment vs Comfort<\/h2>\n

Well, in the midst of financial struggle, not having enough money to live and being in debt, I realised that I was not comfortable \u00a0but I wasn\u2019t content either.<\/p>\n

One day my wife came back from church and she felt very challenged about our attitude towards where we were at with our finances. I was in a state of frustration, about not being able to buy the things we wanted and not having enough.<\/p>\n

Yet everyday, we have three square meals. We have a warm home with hot running water. We have beds and furniture. We have good sanitation.<\/p>\n

I have a car that has given me no trouble since I bought it two years ago. I have enough clothes to wear a different set everyday of the week.<\/p>\n

I have a wife who loves me and three healthy children.<\/p>\n

Yet, I complain about not having enough!<\/p>\n

I believe that is good to never get into a state of being comfortable because discomfort helps you to grow. It also gives you the fuel for moving forward.<\/p>\n

Yet, being content is very important.<\/p>\n

Money and material possessions should never be the solution to your personal contentment. In fact if they are, you will never be content! You will always be seeking more.<\/p>\n

But when you are content, no matter what situation you are in, you are in a better place to be creating wealth<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I would even venture to say that without contentment, you are not creating the right environment for creating wealth<\/span>!<\/p>\n

So in conclusion, by all means remain uncomfortable in your situation, so you can grow and pursue change but seek to be content whatever situation you are in.<\/p>\n
