Restaurants meals are beginning to grow larger every day.

2) At the beginning of a meal before you even get your meal decide in your mind that you are going to only eat 1/2 of the meal. Ask your server for a take out box right away and put 1/2 of the meal in the take out box IMMEDIATELY.

3) Visualize your outcome. Cut a picture of your favorite article of clothing from a magazine and post it on your fridge. Make sure it is something that you really would like to wear. Be realistic in your goal setting.

4) Mind over menu-Eating out while you are trying to stay on track can be pretty challenging. Avoid overdoing by going on the internet and finding the restaurant that you are going to and deciding ahead of time what you are going to eat.

5) Also decide what healthy food you are going to fill up on and you’ll be ready to avoid temptation when dinnertime arrives.

6) Pre-game for parties. If you’ve got a party that you are going to don’t spend needless energy worrying about getting off track. Instead, fill up on a healthy meal before you go. You’ll have less of an appetite for the junk food type of food at the party while still enjoying the party itself.

7) Prevent idle hands. Don’t sit in front of the TV with your hands give your hands something constructive and enjoyable to do so that you are not tempted to use them to put munchies into your mouth. The more your hands have something to do the less time they will have to eat.

8) Break your goals down into smaller chunks. Having just one big goal might be simpler but it can also be more frustrating to reach. Try adding a few smaller goals to accomplish along the way, like going to the gym 3 days a week or eating a vegetable at every meal. Small accomplishments will help make the whole experience more rewarding.

9) Close the kitchen. Chances are the more times you go to the kitchen the higher the chance that you will grab a bite to eat become. As soon as you finish a meal, clean up dishes and turn off the lights (maybe even get yourself a closed sign and hang it up) Tell yourself that the kitchen is closed and find an activity that you enjoy or need to do in another room of your house.

10) Keep a diary. When you you were a kid you may have written out what you did that day or how you felt. The practice of keeping a journal might be a great asset when you are starting a weight-loss plan. You might want to include things like what you at and how you are exercising. It is helpful to also write about how you felt this will give you an idea of what is working for you and what you might want to change in your routine.

12) Be your biggest fan If you do not root yourself on, then no one else will. It is not fair to ask someone else to do something you will not do. Take time each morning to look in the mirror and point out three things you like about yourself or what small results you have seen. Keeping a positive attitude will give you a healthier outlook on your goals.

13) Don’t be a mess of stress. Stress can hurt your body’s ability to stick to a diet and instead trigger a lot of unhealthy choices. Find ways that you can minimize stress in your life and you will maximize healthy eating. For the times you feel out of control keep some a healthy snack bar along with a bottle of water,

14) Shop smarter. Create a list of groceries before you go shopping and do NOT go grocery shopping when you are hungry. It can be amazing what sounds good when you are hungry.

15) Become. A water drinking pro. Water is not only refreshing it is also healthy for you

Become a water drinking pro

16) BYOL. Taking your own lunch to work is a great way to avoid fast food invitations. Before each work week plan out what you will pack this will save you time in the morning. Add some carrots and celery and/or other raw vegetables for some crunch to your lunch. Think ahead. When it comes to meals and snacks if you know every day by 3 you are hungry bring a healthy bar with you, instead of going to the vending machine.

17) Pose slimmer. Cameras must have a weight gain filter in them; because they sure do have a way of making people look like they added ten pounds. What celebrities know is how to make it look like they lost a few. Make your next photo more flattering by placing one hand on your hip and leaning toward the opposite side. This elongates your torso and makes your arms look leaner.

I hope these ways to lose weight if that is what you want to do have helped.

Good ways to lose weight 1) Doggie bag it.
