{"id":36,"date":"2013-03-01T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-01T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/naho\/?p=36"},"modified":"2026-07-31T20:00:32","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T20:00:32","slug":"zero-tolerance-keeping-the-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/naho\/zero-tolerance-keeping-the-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"Zero tolerance and Keeping the peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/leveraged-leadership.com\/prosperity\/?s1=naho\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-747\" alt=\"zero tolerance\" src=\"\/naho\/files\/2013\/03\/dalai-lama-personal-development-quote.jpg\" width=\"100%\" height=\"330\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Humm, tolerance it a sticky business and having zero tolerance is REALLY sticky! \u00a0\u201dOne\u2019s enemy is the best teacher\u201d is the best place to start. \u00a0Is it important to understand your enemy in order to practice tolerance? \u00a0Absolutely!<\/h3>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">Should we have zero tolerance in business?<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">\u2026sometimes Yes, sometimes No!<\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center\">which one helps with keeping the peace? \u00a0Well, Both!<\/h2>\n<p>In some business\u2019s, the customer is \u2018always right\u2019, so <em>zero tolerance<\/em> is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">never<\/span> allowed in order to keep the peace\u2026 \u00a0you tolerate everything because that person could have a big mouth and spoil future sales to others. \u00a0You must accept that every person is a potential downer and treat them ALL as we would want to be treated.<\/p>\n<p>In other business\u2019s, certain behavior is \u2018just not appropriate\u2019, so<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> zero tolerance <\/span>is necessary to<strong> keeping the peace<\/strong>\u2026 \u00a0For instance, schools. \u00a0Entering with a weapon is\u00a0strictly\u00a0forbidden due to zero tolerance guidelines, as it should be! \u00a0We need to <span style=\"color: #003300\">accept<\/span> that there are a few bad seeds in every garden and <span style=\"color: #003300\">pull them out<\/span>!<\/p>\n<p>Aha! Now we\u2019re talking! It\u2019s really about\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">keeping the peace<\/span>\u00a0and tolerating (or not) what brings about <em>keeping the peace,\u00a0<\/em>accepting that there is good and bad in most people and\u00a0learning\u00a0to know when to tolerate and when not to\u2026<\/p>\n<p>So, what does this have to do with the practice of tolerance?
