As someone just starting out in network marketing<\/a><\/strong>, I did my best to juggle both the sales and the recruiting. And now, after doing it for some time, I have taken the steps necessary to make sure that I have gotten both of those things under control. If you are a beginner and want to know how to make network marketing<\/a><\/em> work for you, you need to read this article.<\/p>\n

The first thing you need to understand is that you need to make yourself a schedule. This is paramount. Why? Because you need to walk a fine line between recruiting and making your own sales. You need to spend time on both of these things so that you can make the most amount of money. However, it is easy to get caught up with one thing over the other. That is why you need a schedule. That way, you will remain committed to both streams of income.<\/p>\n

The second thing you need to think about is to not accept everyone who wants to be in your downline. Your downline and your recruits are a big part of your business. If you let anyone be in your downline, you might be setting yourself up for a lot of failure, since some people don\u2019t carry their own weight. Have a conversation with anyone before you sign them up. That way, you will know whether they are serious about the business, or whether they\u2019re looking for a get rich quick scheme.<\/p>\n

That said, remember this is not a get rich quick scheme. Some network marketers join up just to get in line behind a trail of money. They hope to recruit people, and then sit back and let their recruits do all the work. That is not how it works if you want to be a success. As mentioned, you need to do some selling as well.<\/p>\n

Because this is not a get rich quick scheme, it is important that you remember that you should get involved in a network marketing<\/span> opportunity that you enjoy. If you like candles, try to find a company that sells candles. The reason it\u2019s important to enjoy what you do is that you are trying to convince others to try it; if you don\u2019t look like you\u2019re having a great time, you can\u2019t convince others. Your business might suffer.<\/p>\n

Talk to other network marketers, and not just those in your company. That can be a great opportunity for you to really get into the head of others who are doing similar work. You can get suggestions, advice and warnings from people who have been where you are, and it can be a wonderful way to make contacts as well.<\/p>\n
