I have found this one thing to be true in life\u2026If you don\u2019t know where you are going you will never get there! \u00a0This is true no matter who you are.<\/p>\n
I was on a call earlier this week that was just so powerful, I think because the person leading the call did something I love\u2026.Went back to the basics. \u00a0I absolutely love a little \u201cbasic training\u201d \u00a0lol!<\/p>\n
A couple years ago my wife and I played on our churches softball team. \u00a0We weren\u2019t very good. \u00a0The reason for this could be seen in our practices. \u00a0All we every did was try to hit the ball.<\/p>\n
The only thing most people wanted to do was batting practice. \u00a0I know how important it is in softball to be able to hit the ball, but if that is all we know how to do we would still lose. \u00a0If we don\u2019t get back to the basics of how to catch the ball, back each other up, and what to do with the ball once we caught it, how could we ever win?<\/p>\n
But we never did and as a result we lost almost every game we played. \u00a0Something I think could have been avoided if we just got back to the basics.<\/p>\n
The same thing applies in business. \u00a0We have to get back to the basics. \u00a0The first thing we need to know is our destination. \u00a0We have to know where we are going!<\/p>\n
Now that sounds easy enough, right? \u00a0Just know where you are going. \u00a0If you are in business to make money then obviously you want to make money! \u00a0Simple.<\/p>\n
But the key, here, is to be specific. \u00a0Like he said on the call\u2026<\/p>\n
\nClarity is Power!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Know where you are going. \u00a0Not the general direction, but exactly where you want to be. \u00a0Only when you know where you are going can you map out a route to get you there! (Somebody should write that down!! lol)<\/p>\n

Wow!! Not to toot my own horn or anything, but that is powerful right there!<\/p>\n
Be clear and precise when deciding on you destination. \u00a0I mean think about it, would you buy an airplane ticket without knowing exactly<\/b>\u00a0where you were going? \u00a0No that would be completely stupid.<\/span><\/p>\n
So why would we set out on a journey to start our own business without a clear destination in place? \u00a0Which will bring me to my second point\u2026<\/p>\n
Write It Out!<\/h2>\n
On a piece of paper actually write it out. \u00a0Remember to be specific, because \u201cclarity is power!\u201d \u00a0 Be clear. \u00a0Be precise! \u00a0Know exactly where you want to go and write that down.<\/p>\n
Is that too hard? \u00a0NO<\/p>\n
In the book, \u201cThink and Grow Rich\u201d by Napoleon Hill, he talks about knowing and writing you Major Definite Purpose. \u00a0To write out exactly what you want, how you are going to get it, and (optional) when you will have it.<\/p>\n
And here is the key to making this work in your business. \u00a0Read it twice daily!<\/strong><\/p>\n
Yup everyday. \u00a02 times a day.<\/p>\n
What will this do? \u00a0Well I was listening to one of my mentors, Paul, and he was talking about the change in himself when he begin to do this. \u00a0He went from doubting and questioning what he was doing to having the faith in himself to know where he was going and how he was getting there.<\/p>\n
Over the last few weeks I have come to understand, even more than before, the importance of personal development<\/a>. \u00a0And working on you and your mind is one of the most important and basic practices you can get into.<\/p>\n
You want to see a change in your business start with the man or woman in the mirror.<\/p>\n
\nIf you wanna make the world a better place\u00a0take a look at yourself, and\u00a0then make a change \u2013 Michael Jackson, Man in the Mirror<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
