When I was first starting out <i>marketing online<\/i>, I was trying to do seo, social networking, pay per click, ezines etc. There are so many possible ways to <u>marketing online<\/u> that you can literally drive yourself insane just trying to keep track of them all.<\/p>\n<p>I quickly learned that in my efforts to do my marketing online, I simply could not do them all. Not only is there not enough time in the day to do them all, but each different strategy includes so much to learn. I had to decide which ones I was going to use to do my marketing online. And then I had to learn as much as I could about those two or three methods of marketing online. And it\u2019s different for everybody. <\/p>\n<p>Knowing myself played a huge part in this process. Experimentation was another. It is the same for everyone. Ask yourself. What are my strengths? What are my weaknesses? If you have an attractive personality than maybe Social Media Marketing is the course you might take for your marketing online. If you can write a good article, then maybe content is where it\u2019s at for your marketing online. Or maybe you can write a killer ad copy in which case you may want to go the way of funnels and splash pages s your key to marketing online.<\/p>\n<p>Through lots of trial and error I realized for me it\u2019s content. Writing blogs and articles, getting that content ranked and generating my leads via an opt in email form. Thats what works for me. Thats where I feel the most comfortable. I do a bit on Facebook and Twitter but they are most definitely not where I generate the most leads from. 90% of my leads come from content. <\/p>\n<p>Knowing this was the way I was going with my business meant I had to get more education on the subjects of seo, writing articles, back linking and social book-marking. So where would I learn this. Well, from those who know more than me of course. So I went looking for those who knew. Lawrence Tam and Rob Fore are two of the best at this. I watch what they do like a hawk.<\/p>\n<p>Find what works for you, and then find a leader or two at that method and copy every move they make. Get plugged into training such as that offered at MLSP and <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/about\/\">Empower Network<\/a> and learn what the leaders are doing and <strong>COPY THEM!<\/strong> This really isn\u2019t even an option if you want to succeed!<\/p>\n<p>If you try to do it all you will no doubt drive yourself crazy. Find your strength and place of comfort and then go with it. If you choose the method I took with content and seo. Make sure you give yourself 90 days minimum to see results. Unless you\u2019re going to throw some ppc in there to speed up the process. If you use ppc make sure you have a high credit limit on your credit card.
