Bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> is a form of self edification. By making someone else feel smaller, it makes the bully<\/strong><\/em><\/span> feel bigger and better about themselves. In reality, the person who is doing the bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> really is crying out for whatever reason to make themselves feel important. Unfortunately, the person being bullyied<\/strong><\/em><\/span> is the one that is left wondering, what is wrong with me? Why don\u2019t the other kids like me? Why can\u2019t I beautiful or rich or popular? Why can\u2019t I make the football team or the cheerleader squad? What\u2019s wrong with me?<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t think that bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> has an effect on people, take a few minutes and watch these two videos. One with a happy ending and one not so happy.<\/p>\n Jillian Jensen, for whatever reason survived. It wasn\u2019t easy and I can imagine the pain that she went through. You can see and feel it in the song that she performed in front of the X-Factor audience. Her song was so moving that even Simon Cowell<\/a> could not hold back his feelings. And if you just watched the video, I am sure you felt her pain from her bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> as well. Jillian, if you are reading this post\u2026You are a Rock Star. Keep doing what you do, be careful of your heart and stay away from drugs. I hope you win the contest but if you don\u2019t you are already a star in my book. You have done more for bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> in that one song than the government has with all of the money they have spent in television ads. Rock On, Jillian, Rock On!!!!<\/p>\n Some kids can\u2019t handle the pain and we see that more and more are choosing a permanent solutions as a way of escaping the pain. Kayle Marie Wright is just one of those stories. Amanda Todd<\/a> is another. Below is Kayle\u2019s story told by her sister.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n I hate believing that, but I don\u2019t believe we can. No more than we can stop murders of innocent people or drugs from coming into this country. But what we can do is open the conversation with our children to find out if they are being bullied<\/strong><\/em><\/span> or if they are bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> someone. Explain all of the different kinds of bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span>. Show them the video above and let them know how the kids being bullied<\/strong><\/em><\/span> feel inside and that sometimes kids just can\u2019t take the pressure of not being accepted. Let\u2019s let society know that bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span> is no longer going to be accepted and that if your kids bully<\/strong><\/em><\/span> anyone, there will be penalties and charges brought against them in a court of Law.<\/p>\n Please pass this blog to anyone who has children who are still in school and to young adults who may have just gotten out of school and been a victim of bullying<\/strong><\/em><\/span>.
