One of the most incredible things about the internet is its scalability. If you\u2019re a consistent blogger, then you\u2019ll understand the crucial relationship between your blog and increasing your traffic flow. Due to the size of the internet however, it\u2019s quite easy for your amazing blog, with all its great content, to be left out in the big wide ocean of other \u2018wanna be\u2019 fulltime bloggers. Like the ocean, the internet can either make your blogging<\/a> experience quite a lonely one (think life raft in the movie Life of Pi) or paradoxically, something of incredible influence that can influence the world (think Nimitz class aircraft carrier).<\/p>\n

So what is the difference between the two?<\/p>\n

Both have the capacity of immense scalability.<\/p>\n

Both have quality.<\/p>\n

Both are navigating themselves through the same ocean.<\/p>\n

An aircraft carrier however has the firepower to bring nations to their knees. It has thousands on board acting as a crew. It\u2019s also part of a fleet that is supporting its unique role and mission.<\/p>\n

So how do I turn my affiliate blog from a life boat into an aircraft carrier?<\/p>\n

You need some extra firepower. You need to market your blog and let that scalability factor of raw traffic increase your online presence. There are numerous ways you can do this, none of them overly difficult but at the same time none of them totally easy. There are plenty of training packages that can help you achieve this and with a little more investment in your blog, you can see its influence increase drastically. A blog in of itself needs the people leverage to increase the size of its influence. Like how thousands are employed on an aircraft carrier by the government, you need to invest in your own blog to make it more influential.<\/p>\n

You need to find a fleet. You need to network your blog with other bloggers and other networks. There are plenty to join and some amazing ones out there. When you combine the influence of several bloggers together, your influence becomes hyper leveraged and suddenly your little life boat became a little pirate force to be reckoned with! Networking in any industry is such a powerful tool. In the internet marketing industry, I believe that it\u2019s even more essential. The ocean is far too big and powerful out there to tackle it alone.<\/p>\n

Another way to think of it is simply thinking of the difference between a little lone lifeboat out in the ocean and an aircraft carrier fleet. As an affiliate you can\u2019t afford to hang out in your lifeboat for too long. You need to invest in it. Like how the US Navy invests billions into its Navy, it creates something of immense power. Without that investment factor, don\u2019t expect to be making any waves with that little life raft out there. It\u2019s only a matter of time until the big wide ocean takes it toll on you and your little blog dies a lonely death.<\/p>\n

Survive. Invest. Learn. Network.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t wait for a resucue in your little boat out there simply because you\u2019ve heard a few stories circulating that some people\u2019s little blog was noticed and it turned into something special. Although that\u2019s true for some, the majority of there will never be noticed without some serious \u2018ocean survival skills\u2019. This is why so many blogs die, the ocean is so big and its too easy to get lost in its immense scope.<\/p>\n
