{"id":111,"date":"2012-10-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-10-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/maryriley\/find-blog-topics\/"},"modified":"2012-10-27T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-10-27T00:00:00","slug":"find-blog-topics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/maryriley\/find-blog-topics\/","title":{"rendered":"How To Find Blog Topics When You Have Writers Block"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>How To Find Blog Topics<\/h3>\n<p>As a blogger it is not\u00a0uncommon to have a day (or days) when you are stumped and it is hard to <strong>find blog topics<\/strong>.\u00a0 This happens to all bloggers at\u00a0some point.\u00a0 So don\u2019t let it have you thinking that you are not a good blogger because you cannot come up with a <span id=\"more-166\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_167\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 310px\"><a href=\"\/maryriley\/files\/2012\/10\/Find-Blog-Topics.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-167\" src=\"\/maryriley\/files\/2012\/10\/Find-Blog-Topics.jpg\" alt=\"Find Blog Topics\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Find Blog Topics<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>topic.\u00a0 I find that\u00a0not having a topic (or keyword)\u00a0is the hardest part of blogging.\u00a0 Once I have one the words just seem to flow.\u00a0 So I want to share with you some of the way you can\u00a0<em>find blog topics<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>How To Find Blog Topics\u00a0&#8211; Let\u2019s Count The Ways<\/h2>\n<p>1.\u00a0 Google Alerts is a good way.\u00a0 You set an alert with some keywords and have them send you stories on a daily basis.\u00a0 Delete the ones that you don\u2019t like and store the ones you do for future use.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Read your competitors blogs and see what they are writing about.\u00a0 You can create a similar topic and write your own twist of the blog.\u00a0 When you do this do not copy and paste their content into your blog \u2013 that is stealing.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Think about your readers, what obstacles do they have?\u00a0 What bothers them or keeps them up at night?\u00a0 Try to solve their problems in a blog.<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Talk about one of your mistakes and how you overcame it.\u00a0 Readers like to read about other peoples struggles and can relate to it if they are having the same issue.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0Write a book\u00a0or product review.<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0 Read the questions that are being asked on social media.\u00a0 If you can answer the question you have a blog post.<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0 Have a guest blogger write a post on your blog.\u00a0 This is a good way to get content when you can\u2019t find blog topics.<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0 Take a poll \u2013 ask your readers what they would like to know.<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0 Have a debate \u2013 when you hear or read\u00a0something you disagree with write a blog debating both sides of the issue.<\/p>\n<p>10.\u00a0 Use Google Trends to find what is trending that you can fit into\u00a0your blog.<\/p>\n<h2>How To Find Blog Topics \u2013 How I Deal With It<\/h2>\n<p>I do the things listed above but when that doesn\u2019t work I have a couple of other ways to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">find blog topics<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>I go to sites that have lists, like Amazon and search for books I\u2019ve read.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t remember the book you can read the reviews to refresh your memory.\u00a0 They always give a pretty good description of the book.\u00a0 You can also search for product reviews.<\/p>\n<p>I listen to audios.\u00a0 If you listen to personal development audios you can get inspiration and find blog topics.\u00a0 When the audio draws you in and gets you to thinking hard about what they are saying, you can write a blog about that topic.<\/p>\n<p>I am very fortunate because I am in Empower Network and the training has a lot of audios and videos that spark ideas for blogging content.\u00a0 The mind gets caught up in the golden gems that come out of them.\u00a0 One training product called the Inner Circle has 44 different audios that have to do with marketing.\u00a0 Since my blog is mainly about marketing and mindset, the audios make it easy for me to find blog topics.<\/p>\n<p>So if you need to find blog topics, try the tools in this blog post.\u00a0 I have written consistently for almost two months now and have only missed a\u00a0few days because of a family crisis.\u00a0 I realize that doesn\u2019t seem like a long time but I am full of ideas for this blog.\u00a0 The reason is I have a passion for the subject this blog centers around.\u00a0 I have another blog and was always struggling to find blog topics.<\/p>\n<p>To your blogging success!!<\/p>\n<p>Mary Riley<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman\">P.S.
