When I first joined Empower Network<\/a> almost a month ago, I tried to post a link from my Empower Network<\/strong> on my Facebook marketing page.\u00a0 It was denied as being spammy.\u00a0 I tried again thinking it must have been a mistake.\u00a0 Of course I got the same result.\u00a0 I <\/span>couldn\u2019t believe it.\u00a0 I\u2019m with other marketing companies and while Empower Network<\/em> is structured a bit differently, I didn\u2019t find that it was so different that it should be considered spam or a scam!<\/p>\n

Empower Network Spam<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I asked around and was given a way to get around it.\u00a0 The plan worked but I still felt that something was very wrong.\u00a0 I soon found out that Facebook shut down the Empower Network<\/span> group on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Empower Network \u2013 Better Business Bureau<\/h2>\n

The top people in Empower Network suggested we take our complaints to the Better Business Bureau.\u00a0 I contacted Facebook but had never received an answer.\u00a0 I told them that this was my blog and I saw others posting links to their blog.\u00a0 I asked why they were able to and I wasn\u2019t. \u00a0They never responded.\u00a0 So I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau basically saying what I just said.\u00a0 They sent the complaint off to Facebook, who answered that it was spam and their decision was final.\u00a0 The Better Business Bureau considered it a closed case.\u00a0 Empower Network lost this one!<\/p>\n

Empower Network \u2013 Advertising<\/h3>\n

I did create and run a PPC advertisement on Facebook.\u00a0 I\u2019ve seen others run as well.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t do so good so I didn\u2019t keep it running for long.\u00a0 I started joining co-op advertising and everything went well.\u00a0 I received my leads and my emails about my leads.\u00a0 I was growing my list.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, the email from one of the places I was using to advertise started going into my spam folder.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t look there because it never went there.\u00a0 I told the contact for the ad that I was skipped.\u00a0 He looked and saw my leads so I double checked my email.\u00a0 There they were in spam.\u00a0 The lead\u00a0emails\u00a0are going into spam from all sources now.\u00a0 I tell the system that it isn\u2019t spam but it isn\u2019t changing.<\/p>\n

I learned today that Empower Network links (ads) can\u2019t be used on Craigslist ads anymore.\u00a0 Why, because they are spam.\u00a0 I also learned that some advertising places will not take an ad that links to Empower Network. They have to link to a page you own off of Empower Network. Oy vey, give me a break!!<\/p>\n

Empower Network \u2013 Email<\/h3>\n

Today I placed another ad and had to email them the link to my capture page.\u00a0 I went to do it on my main email account at verizon.net.\u00a0 This is where all the lead email comes into.\u00a0 I clicked on send, got a warning that there were spelling errors (the link itself) and told it to send it anyway.\u00a0 It got blocked . . . why?\u00a0\u00a0 You guessed it . . . spam.<\/p>\n

I ended up sending it from gmail.com.<\/p>\n

Why Empower Network??<\/h3>\n

There is nothing legal going on to say that Empower Network is spam or a scam.\u00a0 I find it very aggravating that Facebook labeled it as such (probably from a few over zealous marketers) and now advertising and email is labelling it as such also.\u00a0 I sent a request to\u00a0verizon.net to unblock it but I doubt anything will come\u00a0of it.<\/p>\n

I thought we lived in a world\u00a0of free speech, the right to advertise. We are not talking about porn, illegal drugs, prostitution or any of the sort.\u00a0 We are talking about a network marketing company.\u00a0 What are\u00a0these companies\u00a0so afraid of?\u00a0 Why do I have to defend my right to work in\u00a0the occupation of my\u00a0choosing?\u00a0 My work relies on the internet.\u00a0 When everyone shuts my company down, for no real reason or stated reason (nobody has said why or how they determined that Empower Network is spam) only the little people get hurt.\u00a0 We are small business owners who pay our taxes and who\u00a0decided to market on the internet.<\/p>\n

Is Empower Network Spam Summary<\/h3>\n

All of the above hurts my pocket.\u00a0 Anyone can relate to that.\u00a0 I place ads, people choose to click on them, then they choose to purchase a ready to go blog. It is their choice.\u00a0 I did\u00a0not spam or scam them.\u00a0 We are losing our right to free speech, our right to earn a living and our right to decide to click on an internet ad if we choose to.\u00a0 All of this is being done because somehow, for some unknown reason, someone decided that Empower Network was spammy.<\/p>\n

This makes me angry . . . and determined.\u00a0 My determination to succeed in Empower Network only grows as this denial grows.\u00a0 This just means that we have to be creative in our marketing.\u00a0 Marketing Empower Network and growing my business isn\u2019t impossible \u2013 it just is inconvenient.<\/p>\n
