Thursday, as I sat and thought about what I wanted to write about, the only thing that had been on my mind was my Mom.<\/p>\n

See, she was undergoing some much needed surgery that once it is completed and she heals up, it is going to make her feel a LOT better. But being that she is 75 years old, I still had to be a little concerned that everything was going to be OK\u2026.which I believed that it would be (and is).<\/p>\n

But what was at the forefront of my thoughts was the completely different mindset<\/a> that I was now able to process this kind of news.<\/p>\n

You see, in the past I probably would have worried, and worried, and worried some more, but never let anyone know that I was worried and then sat and felt sorry for myself because \u201cnobody understood how I was feeling.\u201d That was the kind of messed up thinking that usually would have ended up with me justifying hitting the booze again. The \u201cI NEED A DRINK\u201d mentality.<\/p>\n

Today that has all changed. I had prayed about her health many times and the whole family knew that she needed the surgery to improve the quality of her life. But that morning when my sister told me that she had been taken in for surgery and that the surgeon said that it would be at least 3 hours, it struck me. I really had not worried about this\u2026until that moment.<\/p>\n

Every morning when I get out of bed I get on my knees and say the Serenity Prayer. And then always end it with \u201cThy Will Be Done\u201d. So when the pings of worry started to come over me, I looked up at the sky and said \u201cThy Will Be Done\u201d and I knew that no matter what happens, everything was going to be OK.<\/p>\n

Why am I telling you this? Because it is always possible for someone to change. Today instead of sitting on my pity-pot wondering about all the coulda-shoulda-woulda\u2019s in life, I reached out to our team to ask that they all send positive thoughts out to my Mom. And they did. The response just absolutely blew me away. Never in a million years would I have imagined that not only did we start an amazing journey into the world of online marketing with an amazing system, but that we would be surrounded by an unbelievable FAMILY of people that are supportive in both business\u2026and in life. Could not have asked for anything better.<\/p>\n

Lock arms with us and discover for yourself the support that we are feeling every day.<\/p>\n

For the last year, Michelle and I have been surrounding ourselves with nothing but positive people. And days like Thursday it really pays off. I have no reason to worry, for I have put it all in God\u2019s hands to take care of and I have an amazing family and incredible extended family to help me to keep my thinking straight.<\/p>\n

Update on Mom\u2026she is doing very well. Already sitting up and able to eat something today (Saturday), she has a ways to go but with all the positive thoughts that were sent her way, I have no doubt in my mind that everything is going to be just fine.<\/p>\n

Thank you again for all of you that sent your support and thoughts her way, it will not be forgotten and will always be appreciated!<\/p>\n
