It\u2019s about Teamwork. If you are online and reading this article, chances are you profited from someone\u2019s advice or knowledge in the past and you will continue to do so in the present and future.<\/p>\n<p>There are many ways to explain teamwork with the help of models. If this was primarily a technology blog, I might explain teamwork with the help of a Peer-to-Peer Network.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the nature of this blog, I will explain some\u00a0facets\u00a0of\u00a0<strong>teamwork<\/strong>\u00a0with the model of sport teams. We will discover how a team will profit by\u00a0<em>individuals<\/em>\u00a0and how it will suffer.<\/p>\n<p>We might discover that a tight team will have it\u2019s own characteristics as it was an\u00a0individual\u00a0on its own.<\/p>\n<p>We will use these discoveries to your advantage and to the advantage of your team. You have already multiple teams \u2013 but you might not be aware of it at all times. I will limit the discoveries I\u2019ve made in the past to what\u2019s helpful to you. Some\u00a0explanations\u00a0might make no sense to you at this point. But that\u2019s totally okay. Your\u00a0subconscious\u00a0mind will do the work for you.<\/p>\n<h3>Teamwork series<\/h3>\n<p>Because this is such a huge topic, one <a href=\"https:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/blogging\/\">blog post<\/a> won\u2019t do it. In fact this will just be an introductionary post and start of a series of articles about Teamwork.<\/p>\n<h2>There\u2019s no I in team, but there are 5 in \u2018individual brilliance\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Talking about individual brilliance and sports teams, there should always come one name to mind: Michael Jordan.<\/p>\n<p>Michael\u00a0<em>Air<\/em>\u00a0Jordan was the Star Player for the Chicago Bulls and led the team to six NBA Championships in the 1990s. While it is safe to say, that without\u00a0<em>His Airness<\/em>, the Bulls wouldn\u2019t be nearly as successful as they had been, the Chicago Bulls\u2019 role players like Scottie Pippen and Horrace Grant made the two three-peats possible.<\/p>\n<p>But was it those three individuals or the combined strength of all the teammates that made success possible?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are plenty of teams in every sport that have great players and will never win titles,\u201d explained Jordan in an interview. Most times, these players aren\u2019t willing to sacrifice for the greater good of the team. The funny thing is, in the end, their unwillingness to sacrifice only makes individual goals more difficult to achieve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They had a common goal, a team goal. Michael Jordan even said, that he didn\u2019t have an individual goal.
