Barbeques<\/span><\/h2>\n

I live in Victoria, Australia.\u00a0 All my life we have partaken in numerous barbeques<\/strong>\u00a0 and I have noticed that they all generally follow the same routine. My husband loves them and is always keen to accept invitations to whatever BBQ<\/em> is on offer. Barbeques are an \u2018all-weather\u2019 meal which can be enjoyed in both summer, autumn, winter<\/a> and spring.<\/p>\n

My question is\u2026\u2026Are Barbeques the same everywhere?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s what seems to happen at most of the BBQs<\/span> we attend.<\/p>\n

Barbeque Jobs for Women.<\/span><\/h3>\n

*<\/span> buy the food.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> make the salads, prepare the vegetables and make nibblies and dessert.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> prepare the meat for cooking, place it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces and take it to the man who is relaxing beside the BBQ<\/span> – alcoholic beverage in hand.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> remain outside the compulsory three metre exclusion zone where the men seem\u00a0 to congregate and be bonding with testosterone-filled activities.<\/p>\n

*<\/span>\u00a0 organize the plates and cutlery.<\/p>\n

*<\/span>\u00a0 tell the man that the meat is looking great.<\/p>\n

* bring him another beer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

* bring out the plates, cutlery, salad, bread, utensils, serviettes, sauces, and<\/span><\/span> put them on the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

* clear the table after everyone finishes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

* do the dishes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Barbeque Jobs for Men.<\/span><\/h3>\n

*<\/span>\u00a0 welcome visitors offering the men a beer.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> light the BBQ<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

*<\/span> have a beer<\/p>\n

*<\/span> place meat on BBQ<\/em><\/p>\n

*<\/span> have a beer<\/p>\n

*<\/span> turn meat when half cooked<\/p>\n

*<\/span> drink more beer.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> take meat off BBQ<\/span> and hand to woman.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> eat and drink heartily and accept heaps of praise from everyone.<\/p>\n

*<\/span> drink more beer.<\/p>\n

Does this sound like the barbeques<\/span> you attend?\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Most Australian women would agree, I feel.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is a Warning, though, to all men.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t ask your woman if she enjoyed her night off.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

If you do, be prepared to accept the consequences!!!!!!!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I know there are many men out there who can cook beautifully. Take a look at this video.<\/p>\n

Many men can do it all too. I just don\u2019t know where they are!!!!!!!<\/p>\n
