I grew up in the 80\u2032s and listened to Van Halen\u2026 Yes, both the Sammy Hagar band and the David Lee Roth Van Halen. You can pick which you prefer, but I do have a preference of voice\u2026..Hagar\u2026:)<\/p>\n

Hagar\u2019s got a lot more of a pure tone that Roth. Roth, entertaining though for sure.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I\u2019m not here to debate rock bands, I\u2019m here to talk about dreams.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take a look at the first verse:<\/p>\n

When you chase your dreams you many have to leave something behind. You\u2019ve gotta focus on your dreams. Focus on your goals, Focus on what you want because no body\u2019s going to care except you as you\u2019re going through the tough times.<\/p>\n

In life there are so many opportunities for you to lose sight of your dreams. You\u2019re told in school to follow this path, or you can only do this because you came from here. Or even better, you don\u2019t have enough money so you can\u2019t get that\u2026.<\/p>\n

All that is honestly Bullshit. We have to stop telling out kids to chase the \u2018practical\u2019 and we have to stop chasing the practical Because if you settle for what\u2019s practical, you\u2019ll only get average.<\/p>\n

Do you want to be average? Honestly answer that question\u2026 do you?<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t think so. Who sets out in life thinking\u2026well, I\u2019ll just to a half ass job here and maybe I\u2019ll get paid and then I\u2019ll get to go home and do it all over again tomorrow to be average.<\/p>\n

Everyone has an extraordinary person in them. You have to find your fire. You have to find your drive that makes your dreams come true\u2026 THAT\u2019S WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the part of the song that made me write today\u2019s post:<\/p>\n

Be strong. Face your fears. Dry your eyes and go after your goals, your dreams and live. Stop letting someone else tell you that you can\u2019t. If they\u2019re stuck where they are at, that\u2019s on them. That\u2019s their decision to stay broke, poor, sad, stuck and living a life they hate.<\/p>\n

Get out and live!<\/p>\n

Life is too short\u2026.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
