One of the pieces of advice that budding writers are given is to write about what you know.\u00a0 So, what if you don\u2019t know anything?\u00a0 Like, how to set up a blog, or what to write about, or how to organize your thoughts, or how to monetize a blog, or all that \u201cstuff\u201d that online marketers care about.\u00a0 So, what if you don\u2019t?\u00a0 So what!<\/p>\n
The real question is whether you are ignorant or stupid.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t know something YET, you are ignorant.\u00a0 Ignorance is 100% curable.\u00a0\u00a0You can learn anything you need to know.\u00a0 If you won\u2019t<\/em> learn something you need to know, you are stupid.\u00a0 Stupid is a decision<\/span> and like ignorance, it is also 100% curable<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 I know the joke is that you can\u2019t fix stupid, but in business, stupid can be fixed.\u00a0 It is a choice.<\/p>\n Most of us feel stupid when we are really only ignorant.\u00a0 We continue to feel stupid, because there is too much out there to learn.\u00a0 It can take a really long time to learn\u00a0how to build an online business\u00a0and, meanwhile, we aren\u2019t making money.\u00a0\u00a0 During this start-up period, there are a lot of people out there who will\u00a0continue to make us feel stupid, some with good intentions and some without.<\/p>\n There are a lot of\u00a0people who\u00a0will lie<\/strong><\/em> to you and tell you that it is easy<\/span> to be successful\u00a0and you just need to spend money on a magic formula or matrix.\u00a0 Then,\u00a0without any work at all<\/em>, you will make lots of money.\u00a0\u00a0They will pressure you and make you feel stupid for not spending money\u00a0immediately.\u00a0 They won\u2019t reveal their results, discourage you doing your due diligence,\u00a0and don\u2019t tell you much of anything about what you are getting for\u00a0your money before you spend it.\u00a0\u00a0 These scammers give internet marketing a bad name and make\u00a0you feel stupid.<\/p>\n You\u2019re not stupid; the scammers are just very, very good marketers and very, very rotten human-beings.<\/p>\n On the other hand, some people you meet online will tell you that the only way to build your business is the long and hard way;
