Imagine you get on your bike to take a ride to a friends house. You take a quick look at your tires and all looks good. You make your way down the street cautiously. Now you insert your ear buds and start jamming to your favorite song while riding your bike on a busy street. Then someone pulls their car right in front of you and you narrowly miss them. JERK!! You want to yell at them but you keep it in.. but you continue jamming to your favorite tunes on your Ipod. Then you realize you rode past your friends house a long time ago.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In just about all cases you lacked FOCUS.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Let’s switch gears and apply this to your home business.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you happy where you are in your business?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you reaching your goals or just treading water?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Perhaps you lack FOCUS? Not a problem as this happens to all of us.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Make sure you FOCUS on your home business with these 5 things.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Create a Schedule and plan on one to two hours each day to work on your business. You need to schedule it since most likely it will never happen if you don’t. Remove a few of the time wasters from your life such as television or video games.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Be consistent and schedule the same time each day, you are forming a habit and keeping it at the same time will reinforce this till it is automatic. My personal schedule is 4:30am to 5:30am and then 5:00 pm to 6:00pm.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Form a daily Method Of Operation, write down or create a spreadsheet list of exactly what you should be working on such as.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A. Write Blog Post
\nB. Syndicate Blog Post
\nC. Invite others to check out opportunity.
\nD. Follow up with prospects and or list.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Get specific on what you need to do each day and check them off as you complete them.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Make sure you remove all distractions! If you do marketing on Google Plus or Facebook.. do the tasks then close it. Same goes for email. Focus on each task individually and then close it down to remove the time wasting temptations.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5. Focus on income producing activities! If you are doing things that will not eventually bring in new customers or team members, then it is not worth doing. Cleaning up your desk, or trying to create your own system or training (if you already have one that works) is not a very productive activity. If you have a marketing system to follow FOCUS on introducing people to it and teach others to do the same.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The lack of focus is in the top reasons why people fail in their home based businesses.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Just take action and always FOCUS and you will be successful!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
