Andrew De Leon<\/a>, the gothed out Marilyn Manson fan who wow\u2019ed \u2018America\u2019s Got Talent\u2019 judges<\/a> with his unique glam meets rock opera audition, has been eliminated from the competition after failing to impress the judges during the show\u2019s Las Vegas round.<\/h2>\n

De Leon, who wanted \u201ca real freak to win\u201d the entire competition, seemed to be out of his element during the performance causing judge Howie Mandel to ask him what happened. Citing nerves, a dejected De Leon left the stage fearing the worst.<\/p>\n

Howard Stern, who once referred to Andrew De Leon as his Susan Boyle, was pretty harsh discussing the performance with the panel of judges, saying, \u201cHe hits the stage, he\u2019s the same bundle of nerves, he hasn\u2019t gone out and practiced in front of anyone, he blew it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Not everyone seemed to agree with Howard though; Sharon Osbourne came to De Leon\u2019s defense, saying, \u201cWe\u2019re judging him very harshly here \u2013 he\u2019s such an individual, he\u2019s so unique.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since ousting De Leon from the competition, Stern has received a flood of angry messages on Twitter, but he stands by his decision, explaining<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019m so glad we cut him \u2026 In the final analysis, you\u2019re there to be a judge, and it\u2019s a million dollar prize \u2026 He really just completely flubbed the audition, and no one was more disappointed than me, to the point that we went back and replayed it 17 times because we were in shock \u2026 Everyone said: \u2018Our credibility will be out the window if we put him through\u2019\u2026He went from being Susan Boyle\u2026to, almost, Tiny Tim\u2014like, a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the clip below from the show, it\u2019s hard to point out exactly where the performance went wrong \u2013 while maybe not the best we\u2019ve seen from him it doesn\u2019t seem all that<\/em> bad?<\/p>\n

De Leon, still remains a bit of a mystery<\/a>, but rest assured, the world hasn\u2019t heard the last of him yet. With the wild card positions still up for grabs, he still has a shot to return to the show, raise his freak flag and compete for the grand prize.<\/p>\n

In a post-elimination interview with AGTNews.com<\/a>, De Leon said, \u201cI definitely want to continue trying to pursue a career in music. I am not sure how I am going to do that yet.\u201d He added that he would jump at the chance to get back on \u2018America\u2019s Got Talent\u2019 if offered a wild card position: \u201cIt is pretty hard for me to give up on something that I really love. So yeah, if the opportunity came I would definitely take it.\u201d<\/p>\n
