Instead of allowing a little gossip to deter you from using this type of business to make money, though, take a few minutes out of your day and read these hints on marketing. They can help you to avoid pitfalls.

IF you are a serious Business builder….. Read your Policy and Procedures

Policies and Procedures Are Written By Lawyers.

They are not written to protect you or your family or your heirs.

They are not written to ensure that you are paid fairly or to help you reach your goals.

They are not written to allow you to take a holiday or break or retire from your business.

They are not written in your best interests.

Set aside money for when you begin your business. This money may be the lifesaver you need when your business begins to falter in the beginning. Your budget should be used to reinvest periodically into your business to keep it growing as well. Soon you won’t even need to have this reserve of cash thanks to the way that the network marketing strategy will bring in ever growing amounts of revenue.

Always know exactly what you need to become a network marketer in terms of materials. This will allow you to set a budget and/or put aside some finances to get started. Any surprises you encounter might deter you or cause you to go into debt if you’re not expecting them, so researching what you’ll need to succeed is important.

Policies and Procedures are written …

to protect the interests of the company and shareholders. There are few or no clauses written with your welfare in mind.

to tell you what you have to do for the company. There are no clauses stating what the company must do for you.

to let you know that the company does not trust you.

to allow the company to take money out of your pocket and share it among your sponsor and upline and the company without drawing attention from the authorities.

to give the company clauses to use against you.

to give the company a way to legally steal your check.

to keep you recruiting or selling or consuming on penalty of termination

to allow the company to terminate you at any time at their sole discretion.

to treat you like an employee without having to provide the usual benefits.

to allow the company to control your life to a far greater degree than any employer has ever controlled you – while you are with the company and often for a period of six months to a year after you have left the company.

to allow the company to control and monitor the behavior and actions of all your family members and hold you responsible.

to allow the company to hold you responsible for the actions of your downline no matter how deep, and for the actions of your downline’s families no matter how dysfunctional.

to allow the company to hold you responsible for the actions and/or the non-payments of your customers.

to remove your right to a trial by jury and your right to sue the company.

to make you responsible for the legal fees of the company should you decide to try take them to court.

Use your upline to learn from. They have been exactly where you are and they are there to help you just like you will help your downstream. Use them to learn tips for network marketing in general and for specific tips on your product line. You can then pass that knowledge on down the line.

Spend most of your time on business activities that will make you money. This can be very easy to forget. Do you make money when you check your e-mail? Do you make money when you chat with a prospect about their mom’s apple pie? You make more money when you focus most of your day on the activities that will bring a profit.

Set a strict schedule and really stick to it. If you take the time to write out a schedule of how you are going to spend your time each day, you must stick with that schedule. You will need to find at least fifteen hours a week to dedicate to your network marketing business to succeed.

Use different ways to get in touch with your customers. You need to be flexible to meet their needs. Give them the choice to talk to you on the phone, via email, or experiment with other methods of communication such as Skype. Using Skype would give you the opportunity to show your products while you talk to the customer.

Write articles. Article marketing can be a great way to reach new recruits as well as new customers. Write guest blogs on blogs and send your articles to article directories and offline newsletters. Not only do you get your name out in the public, but your article is a great chance to show others that you are an authority in your field.

The bad apples in the bunch haven’t ruined it for everyone. Just look at how many rotten, worm-infested hunks of fruit there are on Wall Street. Most are still successful corporations, though! The same holds true here. As long as you can follow some solid advice and make the right moves, network marketing can pay off huge for you, while at the same time your garner an excellent reputation.

Read your Policies and Procedures before you sign them.

Never thinking that your company would never do that to you.

If they don’t intend to use them, why are they there?

The company will not use those clauses against you unless they have to. If you’re making money and they want it, they will use them!

Most companies do not trust you .

We have found that the Red Flag Clauses in the PNP’s fall into five major areas:

1.
