Can a Employer change your Hours of Work?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the US, absent a labor contract that would stipulate otherwise, it would be legal for a company to do just\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

that.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Recently my current\u00a0<\/span><\/span>employer told us that we would need to cut one hour from our daily schedule. They said it was due to the low retail sales volume. Even though, Thanksgiving and Christmas was extremely busy with high amount of sales. I understand that January 31 is the end of the year for my retail company.<\/p>\n

I did notice that they had made at least 3 major purchases during the year for Equipment, Repairs and Misc projects. Purchasing such items before the end of the year and not knowing if they were going to have any surplus Profits left over is NOT a wise idea.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So to cover the expenses they had to borrow from \u201cPeter to pay Paul.\u201d It looks like the money was removed from the Bonus and Payroll accounts. Unwise Business Practices!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So with the cut in Hours which results in the cut of wages; I was thinking about looking for a more stable Job, if there is such a thing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you at the age like I am, that if you look for another job that they may not hire you because of your age even if they don\u2019t say so? I am extremely worried about not being hired because of my age and then losing my existing job, if my current company found out!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So I started looking at different options like Regular work, Real Estate work and even online work. Most Jobs have to contact your current Employer before they even will interview you. This can cause huge issues with your company.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I wanted to find work that didn\u2019t contact anybody, no credit check or even a urinalyses. I just want a good company to work with and to get started right away! Like Real Estate, I decided on a Commission Based Income. That way I can set my own Wages and get paid what I am worth!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Next decision I had to make was finding a company that had Low to High Sales Products and reasonable commissions. I found several companies that had great products but the commissions started a 4% and went up to 65%. I really needed a higher commission since most of the sales start out at the Low end.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I also knew that I needed some education in this field. I really didn\u2019t want to go get the education from a college since I am more of a hands on type person. Those \u201con the Job\u201d type training\u2019s was what I was looking for. You get to learn and then try it out to see if you got it or not. If not, go back and relearn it and do it again until you have it down pat.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Find a company that provided both would be a challenge. It took several months before I narrowed it down to a few companies. When I did my research on those companies, one kept coming out on top and they even had the Training.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All I Have to say is, WOW! What training they have! It\u2019s well above college standards and easier to learn without the boring Teachers. They even have a Support Staff that keeps you going fast and fierce towards your goals.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
