This is the amazing record-breaking success of the video game creators, Rockstar Games!<\/p>\n
Unbelieveable figures of sales of Grand Theft Auto Five, the latest in the saga that began in 1997.<\/p>\n

There has been of course an astounding amount of reports about GTA 5 record breaking sales because the stats are factually SHOCKING!<\/p>\n
from\u00a0<\/address>\n\nThe Super Joystiq Super Calculator (patent pending) tells us that means\u00a0GTA 5<\/em>\u00a0is somewhere near the 2.25 million mark \u2013 wowzers!That\u2019s in the UK alone, we stress to underline, where the population is just over 63 million. That\u2019s a whole lot of one country people playing a video game. That said, it\u2019s not like they\u2019re the only ones;\u00a0GTA 5<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
So how did they do it?<\/p>\n
Easy! They built the first game and it was good. They built the second game and it was better! That\u2019s what the developers have been doing now for years, with a total community of followers continually growing!<\/p>\n
People have grown up with GTA as part of their lives (believe it or not!)<\/p>\n
My three sons were playing the oh so pixel crazy GTA when it was on PC and crashing cars into lampposts and driving over municipal gardens and wreaking mayhem in the city!<\/p>\n
Since those days my three sons have of course all grown, but GTA 5 just had to be bought. One of my more avid player sons, bought the game and played for 10 hours straight! (Pizza and coke allowing!)<\/p>\n
And, with the years of all the GTA game playing, did they turn out to be moronic, violent car wrecking criminal hoodlums?<\/p>\n
Nope! I am very happy to say we have three amazing sons, an open source website guru, a game programming Masters Degree graduate and a 4 star pastry-chef turned 4 star trained plumber, welder. Can\u2019t say fairer than that eh?<\/p>\n
With 2.95 grand-children added to the Feldmesser dynasty!<\/p>\n
GTA : Why is is so successful?<\/h2>\n
Well you can do your own research of course, but to my mind it caters for a particular part of \u201chaving fun\u201d that means doing things out of your current constraints, so you can just go wild and bust a whole lot of stuff up and be crazy! But also the involvement with the characters generates the necessary emotions to put into your life the missing randomity of the sleep, eat, job, eat , sleep routine of too many of us.<\/p>\n
This amazing success story of course leave clues to the market place and the lessons that can be learned from the Rockstar legacy are many.<\/p>\n
One of the most important lessons is : CONSISTENCY.<\/p>\n
This is what keeps the player\/customer connected to the scene, and Rockstar Games have done great in the respect. Each release has truly satisfied the customers and as the technology of gaming has evolved so has the status of the GTA games, that are now really cinematic works of art, with complexe and fun characterisations worthy of any Hollywood blockbuster!<\/p>\n
There might even be some lingering reminiscing that went on when I created some years ago this little visual joke for a friend of mine \u2026<\/p>\n
