Hello! I was just enhancing my knowledge of the internet marketing arena (yes arena, because just like in the times of the gladiators, if you didn\u2019t know how to survive, you get eaten alive!) by watching and taking notes on one of the videos in the Costa Rica<\/a> mastermind intensive.<\/p>\n

The particular video was nearly an hour long and covered many aspects of marketing, different forms of advertising, many ways to grow your lists and several different methods of contacting your lists to give value, build a relationship and promote a product to help the people on your list get to where they want to go.<\/p>\n

Evidently I can\u2019t give away all the training that is there,(just go ahead and buy it!) but I do want to elaborate on just one concept that caught my attention.<\/p>\n

I think that many beginner marketers, or even some seasoned ones for \u00a0that matter, might have missed this concept.<\/p>\n

When building your online business you have figured out where you want to get your business to.<\/p>\n

And that is a very good idea to project where you want to go, but what might be missing, is how have you projected the result for your<\/em> customers, when they buy your product or service, presuming you\u2019re selling something that helps people make more money in their business, or improve their return on investment, for example.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a well known fact, but it\u2019s worth repeating here for emphasis, that a person who has already bought something from you, is a hot prospect for another<\/em> purchase.<\/p>\n

This is why, when you buy something, smart marketing will collect your contact details in order to send you promotions and offers, because you\u2019re more likely to continue to buy, and always a higher percentage of existing customers versus cold prospects.<\/p>\n

Alright, so always remember to include automatically collecting<\/strong> your new customers details, and then market to this list in a different way than you do to your general advertising.<\/p>\n

Just adding that one function correctly to your current online business will already augment your income.<\/p>\n

The power of community.<\/h2>\n

Now, when you add in to the equation the POWER OF COMMUNITY, you get a real boost.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the explanation in very simple terms.<\/p>\n

Very few people are great at everything.<\/p>\n

Most people are good at a few things and can be very good at one or two things.<\/p>\n

On a scale from one to ten , if you\u2019re at 1 in programming for example, a tough rigorous training might get you eventually to a 2 or a 3.<\/p>\n

But perhaps you\u2019re just naturally a 6 in copy writing, like advertising or sales letters for example. You just \u2018have the knack\u2019 and can easily inspire and influence people with words to help sell a product. Well, if you then put your training effort in what you\u2019re already \u2018gifted for\u2019 you could become a 8 or a 9 in that field.<\/p>\n

Now you\u2019re really a very valuable asset!<\/p>\n

Many people know what they\u2019re lousy at, because their shortcomings are so often brought to their attention, but less often, the thing that they\u2019e really good at isn\u2019t so capitalised on.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve all seen examples of this in the talent shows, where a night-shift worker in a stuffed toy factory, with a \u2018hobby for dancing to music\u2019 turns out to be one of the most talented breakdancers you ever saw in your life, but they were just too afraid to show other people their talent.<\/p>\n

And when you finally get to see that talent, it makes you cry, because it\u2019s so freaking awesome!<\/p>\n

Right?<\/p>\n

Exactly, so the point here is to realise that you are living in a community.<\/strong> That you are part of<\/em> a community. That\u2019s why the Empower Network<\/a> works so well is because of the power of community.<\/strong><\/p>\n

People with a common purpose to better their lives through the activity of online marketing get together and help<\/span> fill in the weaknesses of each other and as such, bolster the powerful points of each other so that a powerful team is created.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each member adding their strengths to the team effort, resulting in a bettering for everyone involved. In such a community, you can rapidly fill-in the weakness that you have and concentrate on providing your strengths to help lift everyone else up.<\/p>\n

That really is a powerful force, so do not regard it lightly.<\/p>\n

No-one makes it on their own.<\/p>\n

Join a team, get connected, learn and find out what strengths you already have that you can bring to the team, and work on getting to be the best you can be<\/strong> in what you are already good at.<\/em><\/p>\n

Now, we are creating a team of 8 and 9\u2032s in their own spheres, which is just unstoppable!<\/p>\n
