Hello. Following on from yesterdays tragic sceanrio, I wanted to bring you today some better news,<\/strong> more relavent to you directly<\/em> and a great deal more useful. (Even if you are directly involved in the Sandy Hook elementary school incident, what I am about to cover here is as important for you too.)<\/p>\n

Every day there are things that occur that we do not seem to be able to predict or control. Often people around you will say that you are just like a leaf on the wind of life, being blown along, and you can\u2019t predict wether you\u2019ll still be alive tomorrow. Well, I am here to disagree with this statement of \u201cit\u2019s futile to even try\u201d because it isn\u2019t futile. In fact it is actually just stupid not to try. I don\u2019t mean to insult anyone here my the definition of stupid includes the concept that you are unaware of what you actually think.<\/p>\n

A stupid person will burn themselves on a hot pan, and the next day go right ahead and pick up the same hot pan off the stove and \u2018wonder\u2019 why it burns. Ok, well, perhaps we are not THAT stupid, but there are gradient scales to all things and being stupid in some part of our lives is a fact of life to all of us.<\/p>\n

We can\u2019t know everything that might happen to us and be able to know exactly what to do or say at any givne time, but our experiences can help us make less mistakes as we grow up. At least, that\u2019s the ideal situation. Of course, there are many people who \u2018know\u2019 that drinking reduces their intellectual capacity (as if it wasn\u2019t already disasterously low!) and continue to get drunk. That is factually a stupid thing to do.<\/p>\n

Evidently the liquor stores don\u2019t give a monkeys nuts whether your or anyone elses consumption is just another step on the slippery road to a ruined life, they have made a profit from your stupidity. Same goes for drug manufacturers and dealers, legal or otherwise.<\/p>\n

\u00a0So how do I improve my life?<\/h2>\n

Well, the first thing anyone has to do to begin to improve his or her life is to actually look at it for exactly what it is. You have to be willing to confront<\/strong> exactly where you are at, and not squirm your gaze away from the (horrible?) truth.<\/p>\n

FACT: you can\u2019t<\/em> begin to improve anything<\/em> unless you can look at the exact state that it is in.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is true of a broken car or a broken life. THE FIRST ACTION to take is to look at exactly what state it is in. Only then<\/em> can you discover what needs to be fixed and begin to go about fixing it.<\/p>\n

How can I discover what to fix to improve my life?<\/h2>\n

In order to find what needs to be fixed in a life, the best way I know of is to work out what the ideal scene <\/strong>would be for your life. In other words, if your life would be the best that you could possibly (at this moment) concieve of it being, that<\/strong> would be the ideal scene. <\/em>Now that you have the ideal scene life<\/strong> visualised we can work on the next step.<\/p>\n

THE FIRST thing to pay attention to and go about fixing in your current sate of existence called life is to handle the furthest departure from the (previously visualised) ideal scene.<\/em> What is the greatest divergence from the ideal?<\/p>\n

What part of your life is so \u2018off the rails\u2019 that it stands out like a fox in a chicken farm?<\/p>\n

Ok, good, now that you have spotted that, your immediate actions would be to handle that part of your life.<\/p>\n

Take responsibilty<\/strong> for the awful state it is in and work out a plan of action<\/strong> that would most rapidly<\/em> bring that area of your life back under your control<\/span> and into a state where it begins to fit into the ideal scene that you have envisaged.<\/p>\n

Great! So now we know where we are at exactly<\/span>, and we have a plan<\/span> to handle the part that is keeping us down, so we can wake up each morning knowing \u201cwhat I am doing exactly today to improve my life \u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n

You get going on this and review it after a little while and if you have followed your plan successfully (and not made excuses as to how come you failed in your plan (again)) you will have improved the most urgent part.<\/p>\n

Now you can take stock and apply the steps above to correct the next most divergent part of you life until you have it all back under control and running like a Rolls Royce engine tuned to run with a GEET converter and burning recycled Mc Donalds frying oil!<\/p>\n
