Out of Body Experience or OBE<\/h3>\n

An out of body experience or OBE\u00a0<\/strong>involves a sensation of floating outside of one\u2019s body and seeing one\u2019s physical body from a place outside one\u2019s body.<\/p>\n

Few sensations are weirder than the feeling that you are floating outside your own body.<\/p>\n

They say about 1 in 10 \u00a0people will have an OBE\u00a0<\/em>at some point in their life.<\/p>\n

I have had several OBE\u2019s and I find the subject completely fascinating! My first OBE<\/span> occurred at a conference where we were being put into a trance like state to have an OBE. What is interesting to me is that I have never been able to be hypnotized so I did not think this would ever happen to me. Anyway, I found myself walking out of the conference room and in the hallway going towards the restroom! I am not sure what was said to bring me back to my body but it was like pulling a rubber band and letting it snap back to it\u2019s original form. I felt myself \u201cwooshing\u201d back to my body and waking up. At first I didn\u2019t believe it happened but when I told my husband about it he told me that I had indeed experienced an OBE.<\/p>\n

The second time this happened I was extremely sick and had a high fever. I was asleep and felt myself come out of my body and float above myself. I watched myself for a few minutes, then my soul or spirit or whatever I was at the time, reached towards me and I could see threads of light coming out of my body. I saw myself giving names to each thread and sending it out into the Universe. The feeling I had was that these people needed what I was sending out. Yesterday I was explaining this situation to my husband and I told him I wish I knew what this meant. He said he believed I was sending protection to the people who needed it. Just like when I do a \u201cwhite light\u201d meditation! I was floored! In my meditation, I can send \u201cwhite light\u201d protection to family, friends, or the world if I choose! It was a big AHA moment for me.<\/p>\n

The last OBE occurred recently during a meditation. I felt myself come out of my body and immediately I was outside in front of a relatives house. I looked at the house, then I was inside observing my relatives. I have no idea why I went there. I was not thinking of them in that moment, but I had been missing one of them.<\/p>\n

So to say the least, my experiences have been positive. I want to do this again, but have not been able to. I think I am trying so hard that it just isn\u2019t happening.<\/p>\n
