1. Tell a story \u2013 Share a story people can relate to.<\/p>\n

2. Add personal photos \u2013 See if there is an appropriate way to give readers a peek into your world.<\/p>\n

3. Use humor \u2013 This can help your post be entertaining. This, however, does not come naturally to many of us. \";-)\" <\/p>\n

4. Quote statistics or interesting facts \u2013 Do some research and find stats that can grab your reader\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n

5. Have a compelling title \u2013 This is so important. Without a good title, no one may read your post.<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t mastered these blogger tips<\/em>, but I always strive to improve.<\/p>\n

Another challenge faced by some bloggers, including myself, is writing about technical issues without overwhelming non-technical readers.<\/p>\n

\nwriting about technical issues:<\/h2>\n

1. Use lots of examples \u2013 Analogies, metaphors and examples can make a huge difference in how memorable your blog will be to readers.<\/p>\n

2. Explain all technical stuff and minimize jargon \u2013 Your readers will appreciate it if you take the time to explain things.<\/p>\n

3. Break processes into tiny steps \u2013 This will make even a complicated process seem simpler.<\/p>\n

Blogging platforms offer templates and features to enhance the appearance of your blog. They will allow you to use your blog to its full potential. <\/p>\n

Here are some more blogger tips:<\/h2>\n

1. Your goal with blogging, of course, is to drive traffic to your blog. Most visitors will find you through the search engines, so search engine ranking<\/a> is very important. Be sure to use keywords throughout your content. Link building has a lot of bearing on how the search engines rank your site. Try to use a great link building campaign with your blog. <\/p>\n

2. You will want to do email marketing to build a list. If you start creating the list early enough, it will have ample time to grow. A mailing list is a great method for staying connected with your readers. List building<\/a> can greatly affect the efficiency of your site.<\/p>\n

3. The area just below your banner is prime real estate. Use it to show the most important articles you want visitors to read. When developing a blog site, ensure that the most important information is above the fold. That\u2019s the area that your readers see (without having to scroll down) when they see your blog.<\/p>\n

4. Guest blogging is a simple way to add more high-quality content to your blog. Guest blogging means you write for another blog. This can help you get more subscribers to your blog. It can also build backlinks (links on a website that point to another website), traffic and exposure. <\/p>\n

5. Be authentic and genuine. There\u2019s no need to act like you are an expert on everything. Remember to be open and honest. There\u2019s no better way to express yourself than through a blog. Strive for improvement not perfection. If you make a mistake, so be it. You are unique, and no one can duplicate you.<\/p>\n

6. Don\u2019t take negative comments personally. Use this feedback as an opportunity to improve the interaction on your blog. Address criticism politely and move on. <\/p>\n

7. Make sure that your posts get to the point. Using too many words will cause readers to lose interest. Readers are interested in function, not form.<\/p>\n
