Yep, another year has been successfully negotiated with many lessons learned. High hopes include the pursuit of finally escaping the traps of insanity with regard to everything you\u2019ve experienced. You all know the definition of insanity so I don\u2019t have to define it, right?<\/p>\n<p>Making mistakes is human. So, how do you go from constantly making mistakes to becoming successful with your <u>home business<\/u>? This year I am going to start by setting goals\u2026both in my personal life and my home business. What separates success from just another failed attempt is a combination of patience, dedication and finding a reason to support a drive to achieve the goals you set for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Take a moment to write down some of the things you really want. The other day, I heard someone say that if you don\u2019t want anything, then you are dead. Yikes, a little strong perhaps, but think about it. If you don\u2019t want anything, then what kind of mindset do you have? If you do want something, then you are ready to go! By setting goals, sticking to them and finding the drive within yourself, you will obtain the success you are so eagerly working toward.<\/p>\n<p>Just because I am talking mostly about setting my <a rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"Learn More About the Empower Network\" href=\"http:\/\/empowernetwork.com\/almostasecret.php?id=jaimek41\" target=\"_blank\">home business<\/a>\u00a0goals, it doesn\u2019t mean that I don\u2019t integrate some personal goals as well. They really do go hand in hand. Integrating both personal and home business goals will avoid burning out and will continue to grow as a human. Here are some ideas to help you set some goals on both fronts:<\/p>\n<h3>Ideas for Personal and Home Business Goals<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Volunteer to help out a non-profit\u2026giving back is an amazing feeling!<\/li>\n<li>Set up an online community or group using a blog or social media platform and be actively involved.<\/li>\n<li>Look for opportunities to perform random acts of kindness\u2026ask to help an elderly person with their groceries, etc. at least once a week.<\/li>\n<li>If you don\u2019t have a blog, set one up. If you already have one, write blog posts daily using original and creative content for the purposes of helping others.<\/li>\n<li>Make a checklist and update it as often as possible.<\/li>\n<li>Call your parents once a week.<\/li>\n<li>Send out friendly emails to your list\u2026don\u2019t always send emails with sales lingo\u2026it get\u2019s old.<\/li>\n<li>Work on your home business at least one hour per day.<\/li>\n<li>Join fifty social, video or bookmarking sites to help set up backlinks for your home business.<\/li>\n<li>Create a video about your business and submit it to a video hosting site like youtube, viddler or vimeo.<\/li>\n<li>Commit to mentoring at least one person and help them as much as you can.<\/li>\n<li>Learn to play an instrument.<\/li>\n<li>Learn to speak another language.<\/li>\n<li>Learn HTML.<\/li>\n<li>Get off unemployment<\/li>\n<li>Spend time with family.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy your relationships<\/li>\n<li>Introduce yourself to a person you are attracted to\u2026this is only for those single people\u2026lol<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Hopefully, this list will help establish a mindset to help you get started with your goal setting. Don\u2019t turn this into a big deal, but be disciplined about it. By incorporating a structured atmosphere, you will set your own level of expectations, which is very important, and this will help make you responsible for your actions. This way, you will remain motivated to complete your list of goals because you, and only you, are in control of the actions you asked yourself to take.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that\u2019s not too confusing\u2026lol.
